Keep kids active throughout the summer with Laser Tag Summer Camp. Youth Leadership Summit 2.0
Held in Ashland, Nebraska at Carol Joy Holling Camp and Retreat Center, this event will gather youth from across the ELCA for intentional leadership development and faith formation. Our guests include Presiding Bishop Eaton, Kevin Strickland, Assistant to the Presiding Bishop/Executive for Worship, Stephen Bouman, Executive Director for Congregational and Synodical Missions of the ELCA, and several other wonderful speakers and teachers. Our featured presenter is Lyle Griner who will be coaching us on Peer Ministry. Each synod will select two youth to participate and send one adult to accompany them on the journey. Registration will be covered by a special grant. Your only responsibilities will be travel and being open to what God has in store for you through this event. Registration closes on October 1, 2015.

We focus on families whose children are currently on treatment; parents who need a night out, with safe, reliable, free babysitting! BASE Camp Kids ages 5-15; patients, and their siblings are included, and welcome to attend! From 6-9:30 we offer up crafts, games, dress-up, snacks, dinner & movies for the children who are dropped off so their parents can have a date night! The BASE CAMP KIDS are entertained by volunteers who bring kid friendly food, popcorn & movie candy BASE CAMP has a digital library of movies; G, PG, PG 13… depending on the age group of the children we will watch movies on our 70 inch big screen TV in our Hudson's Furniture/Ikea-Orlando family room! Our volunteer teams also bring "Lots of energy", games, crafts, and a respite for parents who just need a little time away from their children! Jun 2016 Junior Golf Camp - Eastlake Country Club
Our five day camps are extremely popular and can be summed up in one word: FUN!! They are geared toward introducing children to golf so they can experience how much fun the game is. All aspects of the game are covered including rules and etiquette. Golf cubs are provided for children who do not have a set of clubs. Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to noon and include: instruction, golf shirt, snacks, and a pizza party on the last day! Ages 6-12. The Preseason Faceoff Clinic will focus around the three fundamentals for youth to advanced level players; technique, repetition, and competition. The face-off clinic will teach the players how to hold the stick properly, feet/stance alignment, stick alignment, and primary/counter moves. Specific face-off drills and advanced skill work performed at the college and MLL level will also be incorporated throughout the clinic. The first day will focus mainly on face-off instruction and repetition. The second day will focus mainly on repetition and competition.
