How to defend our Faith. Jan. 20-22, 2017 Grades 7th-12th Cost: $60.00 We want to invite all 7th-12th grades to join us for a weekend as we look at how to defend our faith. We will spend time in Bible study, team building, break-out sessions, and recreation. We will look at: 1. Why defend my faith? 2. How do I know Christianity is true? 3. Is God real? 4. Can I trust the Bible We will also have break-out sessions discussing: 1. Why does God allow evil? 2. How to share and defend my faith at school. 3. How to prepare a bible study/sermon. 4. How do I balance sports and faith? 5. How do I have a quiet time? 6. Evangelism tools: using different tools to share the Gospel. Winter Yoga Camp is a great opportunity to provide children with a healthy group activity. They have the opportunity to learn yoga or grow their practice with their peers by experiencing fun postures, gentle breathing techniques, meditation, and deep relaxation Pre-register to save your space. Learn the Olympic sport of Fencing this summer in a fun and safe environment! Positive Coaching Alliance certified coaches Chris and Jay instruct kids in the basics of the sport, so that kids come out knowing everything they need to be young fencers. Over the course of the week, we cover coordination, footwork, bladework, scoring, and bouting. Kids will spend their week playing team building and coordinating games, while learning the sport of "physical chess" from two elite level coaches! Ready for some sports fun and adventures in the great outdoors? Duke Schools Sports and Outdoor Adventures Camp will focus on sports, outdoor activities, team building and environmental awareness. Campers will enjoy a mixture of hands-on learning, working and playing together while discovering how to enjoy the outdoors while preserving it for others. Campers will have fun playing sports and games including, soccer, basketball, whiffleball, tennis, flag football, floor hockey, frisbee games and more! Volleyball Camp Ages 7 - 12 - Centennial Middle School
Skyhawks Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it together into one fun-filled camp. All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting and serving. This co-ed program is designed for the beginning and intermediate player. Our volleyball staff will assist each athlete in developing fundamental skills through game-speed drills, daily scrimmages aimed at developing the whole player. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring two snacks, knee pads, and water bottle. All participants receive a t-shirt,volleyball and player evaluation.
