The Middle School String Orchestra Camp is open to entering grades 7, 8 or 9. The two orchestras are conducted by exemplary specialists in middle school orchestral music. The program includes sectionals, master classes, supervised practice, and optional private lessons. This camp culminates with a required student performance. 512-232-2080

Spartan Quest PM (12:30-3) 1 week 1st-8th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: John Leddy "Summertime fun begins at Spartan Quest, (formerly known as Sports Camp). This class will run for all 10 weeks of summer school giving your camper a consistent, exciting summer daycamp experience. We will spend the mornings doing fun things on campus like; playing games, flying kites, dodge ball, hide-n-seek, flag football, basketball, video games, etc…. We also will build our own fun when we build things like; bow and arrows from PVC pipe, marshmallow shooters, mini-golf-courses, obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, and anything else we can think of! In the afternoon we continue our fun off campus at places like; Tanganyika, ice skating, roller skating, Lazerquest, Watson Park, mini-golf, All-Star Adventures, Water Center, Bug Lady and many more too numerous to mention. This class is designed for students entering 2nd to 8thgrades who are looking for unlimited fun and adventure. Enroll all day for the entire summer for the special price of $1680, or pick and choose the weeks that fit your schedule. Weekly half day morning or afternoon options are available too. Scholarship applicants are required to provide additional forms: 1) Proof of Eligibility for Free/Reduced Lunch Program 2) A Student Essay (To be Completed by your child/ward) 3) A Teacher Recommendation (To be completed by your childs teacher and submitted to IMSA) If you are awarded a scholarship, you will be notified by email. This creative class is perfect for art lovers! Draw, paint, and sculpt every day as we tackle new projects.
