Each day, kids in Circus Camp learn new parts of various circus stunts ranging from juggling to baton twirling to balloon acts to much more. Also teaches students confidence in public speaking and instructs how to develop a stage presence that they never had before. At the end of the week on Friday, the kids provide a show open to the parents and anyone else from the public. AM Painting En Plein Air 8/15 (ages 6-8) - Ah Haa School for the Arts
Experience the beauty of Tellurides landscape by going outdoors to make art. Well paint, draw and experiment with different materials. Learn how to mix colors and use a variety of painting techniques with acrylics, watercolor, oil pastels and more. Well even make our own paintbrushes in this ‘outdoorsy class. 970.728.3886
POTTERY ON THE WHEEL - Walker-MacKenzie Studio - Gertrude Herbert
Instructor: Twila Brock Beginning and advanced beginner students will have the opportunity to continue developing their skills in the various approaches to throwing functional ware on the wheel under the guidance of Twila Brock who specializes in this area. Instruction will be focused on basic techniques. Forms will be thrown, altered, and assembled to create various vessels. Projects will be tailored to the students skill level. Glazing techniques will also be addressed. Students must provide a clean towel each week. Song selection will come from around the globe as you discover your own creative singing voice. Youll be training like a professional through serious voice warm ups and voice manipulation while you sing through music genres such as the blues, rock, pop, gospel and vocal jazz.
