Dates: June 27-July 1 Time: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm for Boys Entering Grades K-8 Format: One-week session Location: Laurels Butler Campus in Russell Township Tuition: Boys-Only Camp: $325/session Get a jump on the season with an intense week of fitness and skill training! This first-class soccer camp focuses on enhancing individual skills, building team tactics and teaching intricacies of the game. In addition to soccer skills, campers will spend time in our state-of-the-art 16,000-square-foot fitness center while working with Laurels certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist to learn about lifting techniques, agility, speed, ACL injury prevention and nutrition. Participants will be split into groups based on age and experience. Coach Dennis Weyn - Director of Coaching for Ohio Premier Soccer Club and Eastside Kickers, Dennis is a former member of the U16 and U18 Dutch National Teams and played professional soccer in the Netherlands and the US. Doulos Youth Winter Camp - Denton, TX
Keep it real this winter by joining Doulos Youth (7th-12th grade) for Crossroads' second annual Winter Camp! It’ll be a weekend packed FULL of awesome worship, life-changing messages, group games, and time to just hang out with your friends. There is a non-refundable deposit of $75 due at registration. Beginning and Advanced Sewing with Machines - The Evergreen School
Children can spend their week learning to sew or improving their sewing skills. A sewing machine will be provided for each student to use during class. Beginning students will start with a tote bag and pencil pouch. Advanced students will be able to choose what they would like to make from different patterns presented. Several projects will be available for both boys and girls. No previous sewing experience is necessary. 206-957-1533
Setter/Hitter Camp | Session 1 - University of Texas at Austin
The Setter/Hitter Camp is for athletes entering grades 6-12. This camp is ideal for athletes who have established themselves as a setter or hitter and want to improve on one of these skills. The sessions focus specifically on improving advanced hitting or setting techniques for improved execution during game situations through excellent, intensive training. Players enrolling in these camps should be ready for intermediate and advanced skills training. Campers must specify whether they are a setter, outside hitter, or middle blocker. SummerART Camp Full Day Pottery Program 9:30am to 5pm Pottery Camp with Movie Making with a Green Screen Session I: June 27 to July 8 No camp on Monday, July 4 Pottery Camp This camp is for children who are interested specifically in working with clay to create pottery, sculpture, and more. Campers are grouped in age-specific classes (6 to 8, and 9 to 12). Campers will have the opportunity to use the Museums diverse collection of Native American pottery as inspiration. Much of the work created in Pottery Camp will be kiln fired, some will be functional, some will be decorative, and all of it will be treasured for years to come. Much of this artwork will be displayed at the receptions in Leir Hall at the end of each session. Why sit at home when you could be making friends and creating art? This camp will be filled with a variety of arts and crafts projects. Learn about primary, secondary and tertiary colors and use several different types of art mediums. The 8-12 year old camp will have a brief overview of art history as well. There will be an art show the last day of camp. We will get messy so wear an old shirt, or bring a smock to class. Campers will receive a T-shirt! Receive professional tennis instruction in a fun group environment. Well cover the basics from proper footwork and grips to stroke production and movement. Basic skills including volley, forehand, backhand and serving will be taught through games and drills. For beginner through intermediate players. Supplies: Campers should bring their own tennis racket and water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed.
