What Types of Special Needs Camps Are There?
Youth who have specific medical conditions or special needs can also have a summer camp experience. There are programs designed to bring together youth who may not fit into a traditional setting. For example, there are groups for children battling cancer as well as programs for children with diabetes.

August Summer Camp Crop - Sunday - Garrettsville, OH
Summer Camps are no-frills, get-a-lot-done, fun-filled social events. We are trying something new this year! We will join Debi Morris at her campground, Traveler’s Woods. There will be no fee to crop and we will plan our potluck meals in advance. Camping is available – Campers with water/sewer/electric are $20.00/night; tents with electric plug are $10.00/night. Showers, a bathhouse, and a pool are available for campers. Optional Friday night add-on to camp. (Provide your own camper or tent, payment upon arrival.) Digital scrappers and card makers welcome at all events too! Join us for one or both days.

Learn answers to these questions and more during this fun camp! This camp is a "Rain or Shine" event, if it is raining, activities will be moved inside a shelter. The focus of the camp is to teach the technical skills of soccer (passing, receiving, finishing, dribbling and heading) through imaginative and small sided games. Each day, the trainers will emphasize a different skill and the campers will try to master the skills through fun and exciting games. The trainers will encourage good sportsmanship, fair play and having fun! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- REFUND POLICY: A cancellation fee of $10 per transaction will be deducted for requested refunds/transfers. A refund (less $10) may be granted if the District is notified five (5) business days prior to the first class meeting. Refunds will NOT be granted within five (5) days of the first class meeting, or anytime thereafter. Registrants failing to be present for the program will forfeit all fees paid.
