Race for the Campers 5K, 10K, and Kid's 1 Mile Adventure Runs - Trout
Get a taste of what Camp Jonah has to offer its campers in these 10k, 5k, and kid’s 1 mile adventure runs; with all proceeds going directly to camp scholarships to help get kids to camp! If you like your races with a little more "fun" than "run" Jonah’s 5k obstacle run is the race for you. Test your limits by wading through mud pits, scaling climbing walls, conquering inflatable obstacles, dodging flying water balloons, and battling many more surprises along the way. Win the race to be crowned camp King or Queen. Be sure to bring your messy clothes/shoes, you may get dirty! For the more serious runners we recommend our 10k scenic run exploring the beauty of Trout Lake. With Mount Adams as your backdrop, this is a race is one you won’t want to miss. 23rd Annual Teen World Bible Camp - Clinton, PA
Teen World MInistries will be holding its 23rd Annual Bible Camp the week of June 5-11, 2016 at Promise Camp & Retreat Center in Clinton, PA. Our camp theme for the week is "Jesus Christ: Born, Crucified, Risen!" with Luke 24:45-47 being our theme verses. We will be memorizing and studying the Book of Luke (ESV 2011 Text) chapters 2:1-38, 23:26-56, and 24:1-53.. Teen World Bible Camp is open to all youth entering grades 4-12 in the 2016-2017 school year and 2016 high school graduates. Registration Fee for camp is $150 . Early Bird Registration Fee is only $140 if deposit form is received or postmarked by April 18th. There is a $10 per camper Family Discount for siblings attending camp as campers. JANUARY -Bobcats Academy (morning skills session for homeschooled/online school hockey players of any team) - Arcadia Ice Arena
Skills and Skating sessions at Arcadia Mon, Tues and Thurs 7:20AM-8:50AM for ALL youth hockey players who are homeschooled or online schooled regardless of school or hockey organization (example: if you are a peewee A player at Mission, homeschooled by your parents via chandler online prep you can still attend Bobcats Academy for morning skills sessions). Sessions must be paid monthly. Disclaimer***due to the increased cost of ice we can no longer offer free weds night sessions as part of the Academy package***. Teens Exploring Identity with Phil Levine (Ages 12-17) - Young People
This class gives students a real opportunity, as artists to explore the topic of identity and Family. The results have been creative and exciting. Students explore topics like family, friends, personal exploration, ethnic and racial origins and many others. They have the chance to visualize old and new themes that inform the viewer and surprised the artists. This is a very special class that promotes communications about self-realization through the visual arts, in a safe and supportive environment.
