Awakening is a Catholic retreat put on by young adults for young adults. This overnight retreat runs from Friday night through Sunday afternoon ending with Sunday Mass. The retreat is designed to awaken your faith, bring you fellowship, and to strengthen your relationship with God during your young adult life. We accept retreaters of any faith/belief in and out of college from ages 18-26. Even though this is a Catholic retreat, you do NOT have to be Catholic to attend. Send me.” We have been saved, reedemeed, given a new identity as sons and daughters of the King. We have been COMMISSIONED to something greater than going through the motions of everyday life. Join us this year as we take three days to dive into this theme through worship, prayer, teaching of the word, team activities and so much more! Registration opens June 1st. FULL - Technique I - Combo - Wednesday 5:00pm (Spring) - CHAW
Semester-long technique classes are designed to give beginning dancers an opportunity to learn foundational skills in ballet, tap and jazz dance. All students perform in demonstrations or recitals held in conjunction with CHAW-wide performance festivals at the end of each session. Our week long Junior Golf Camp is offered each week during the summer. Juniors golfers will learn or improve their golf game. During the week, the instructors will cover each aspect of the game of golf. Juniors will receive 35 hours of supervised practice and instruction. Camp day on Friday includes a pizza party and Golf with Parents in the afternoon. Receiving and Passing: Exercises to improve a players first touch, encourage and teach accurate creative passing. Moves (1v1): Exercises and games that teach game winning individual moves that can create space in packed defenses. Speed: Exercises and games that improve acceleration, running with and without the ball and changes of pace. Finishing: Exercises and games that teach technique and encourage instinctive play.Group Attack: Exercises and games that improve small-group combination play with an emphasis on fast break attacks. Summit Football July 25-29 Rising 3rd, 4th & 5th 9am-2pm Campers will learn fundamentals to be successful in football. The morning will focus on drills to improve throwing, catching, running, kicking, punting, as well as offensive and defensive positions. The afternoon will be filled with flag football games to put all of the fundamentals together. Campers would be encouraged to bring sneakers, cleats, shorts, hats, water bottles and a t-shirt. Mr. Mihalko was part of two high school championships and one national championship at the University of Notre Dame under Lou Holtz. The winning is not the focus of this camp. All our activities will be conducted with safety in mind. We will focus on fundamentals and fun! (336) 722-2777
