My son is going to be a senior this upcoming year and this past summer, he wanted to go to ASM Materials, Metallurgy, and Forensics Engineering Institute in Rapid City, SD. We reluctantly sent him, but were amazed at all the wonderful things he learned and did while he was there. He had hands-on learning in an educational environment about materials, metals, building and engineering. It was as if he has gone away for a semester of college. Summer Horse Camp - Ernul, NC
We have 6 awesome horse camps this summer for ages 6 to 10 and ages 11 to 15. Time is 9am to 5pm. The following weeks are available: Little Kids $135: June 13th - June 16th July 11th - July 14th August 8th - August 11th Big Kids $150: June 27th - July1st July 25th - July 29th August 22nd- August 26th Let us know as soon as possible what week you would like to place your child in. Deposits will be due begining Feb 1st to hold your spot. Full balance will be due by June 1st. If you have already contacted us in some other way, you do not need to do so again. We created this event to ensure everyone will see it instead of a post that will get buried in newsfeed. Please feel free to invite anyone you feel would be interested.
RESET - A Retreat for Adults Who Work with Youth - Port Murray, NJ
RESET 2016 is for all adults who work with young people - especially those in congregational settings: Volunteer Youth Workers Clergy Youth Ministry Staff Parents Congregational Elected Leaders Synod & Diocese Leaders Seminary Students & Faculty Our leaders will be Terri Elton (Luther Seminary) & Lisa Kimball (Virginia Theological Seminary). The emphases of this retreat are: • Confirmation/Middle School Ministries as catalyst for vibrant Faith Formation throughout the entire congregation. • Strengthening collaboration and community among adults in the church who care about young people.

Camp I Survived - Off the Beaten Path Bookstore
This camp is based off the popular I Survived… series! Step into the disasters and adventures in these books and decide what you would do! Students will learn how to survive in different climates and regions around the world and natural disasters. Travel on an exciting survival-themed overnight, more details TBA! Campers will attend camp 8:30-5 M-F, Thursday is 8:30 drop-off with overnight, Pick-up at 1pm on Friday. 855-426-6587
Film Makers Challenge Workshop - S1 - Plymouth Community Arts Council
For students with previous film making experience. Take your film making to the next level with a series of fun challenges that will stretch your imagination. On site props and indoor/outdoor settings offer students a chance to show their stuff and work together in pairs, in teams, and as individuals to come up with creative solutions to the days challenge. PCAC Film Crew Instructor Jenn Teed and production assistants will start off each day with a technique demo and then guide film makers as they come up with unique digital films. Students should bring their own film recording device with memory card or cord to transfer film to instructors ipad. Contact if you will need equipment to use during workshop. Math Enrichment (1st-6th Grade) - Summit Schools
Are you a math whiz who just cant get enough? Then this camp is for you! Well determine your understanding of math and challenge you to keep growing during the summer break. This camp is appropriate for students who are average or above in math but desire to stay engaged over the summer and have fun too! Two separate classes are offered: 1st - 3rd Grade & 4th-6th Grade *Please note: Students who are registered for a morning and afternoon camp within the same week are invited to stay for FREE supervised lunch and recess between 11:30 am-12:30 pm. Students should bring a sack lunch that does not require heating or cooling. Please note that lunch is not provided and students must be registered for both a morning and afternoon camp. 319-294-2036
LITTLE SLUGGERS BASEBALL CAMP - Adams Park
Put me in coach...Im ready to play! This camp will focus on baseball fundamentals and techniques from hitting, fielding, and throwing to base running and more. Camp will be conducted rain or shine. Parents will be provided with information on how to handle rain days on the first day of camp. Supplies: Campers should bring their own bat and glove, and a plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend campers use sunscreen with a SPF of at least 30. Attire: Baseball attire (e.g., baseball pants, cap and cleats). LOCATION Adams Park Baseball Complex INSTRUCTOR Sports A Rama
White/Orange Level - May - World of Golf
In this introductory level, juniors learn swing fundamentals, safety, and basic fitness routines. Familiarization with the golf course and facility are also explored in a fun and non-intimidating way. Juniors develop full swing techniques and are introduced to basic chipping and putting methods. Simple rules and etiquette will get them ready for the golf course. Character Traits learned: Integrity, Sportsmanship, and Respect. 859-371-8255
