The Wallis is pleased to offer an opportunity for youth ages 12-18 to become a Student Arts Reporter. This program is designed for students interested in the arts and journalism or critical writing. The Wallis is proud to partner with the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle and other local media partners to help mentor students to view productions with a critical eye and write reviews for selected Wallis performances throughout the season. Kids Winter Boxing Camp #1 - Edmond, OK
Do the kids need a place to burn some energy and learn useful physical skills over the holiday break? In our Boxing camps your children will learn fundamental boxing and self-defense techniques in a safe and supportive environment. No experience necessary. You can bring your own gloves or we have gloves for sale. To accomodate your holiday plans we are offering 3 separate camps. Each camp will be Monday through Wednesday from noon to 2pm and is only $40 for the week. Paper & Paint 3D Creations (A.M.) with Ansley Young - Westerly Creek Elementary (Art Room)
Teacher: Ansley Young The wonders of paper and paint come to life in this camp, where 3D projects are built and produced from papier mache, paper bags, watercolor paint, acrylic paint and dimensional embellishments, like beads, yarn, and found objects. Participants will brain storm ideas for these 3D projects on the first day, and will walk away with fabulous creations, which might be masks, sculptures, or an imaginary 3D robot, at the end of the week. Join us for the last 10 minutes of camp on the final day for an art gallery walk in the classroom. We close online registration 24 hours prior to camp start. NOTE: GOALKEEPER REGISTRATION IS FULL FOR THIS CAMP. We encourage your goalkeeper to attend the next One Day Prep Camp in June - details TBA. One Day Camp for those serious club and high school soccer players interested in playing college soccer in their future. Players are usually of high level but camp is open to all based only on age. The day is comprised of technical training, small sided games, full sided games, and a recruiting lecture by the Northwestern Coaching Staff.
