Youth camps include three balanced meals each day, organized and supervised recreation, missionaries, chapel, camp fires, Bible study, clean cabins and showers and a health supervisor. All campers participate in the entire camping program. Campers are expected to behave in a manner honoring to God. They will remain on the grounds except when participating in scheduled activities away from camp. Campers leaving early must have written permission from parents. Campers are to be in camp by the end of the first day. NOTE: All swimming sessions are supervised, but not necessarily by certified lifeguards. Any concerns or questions should be directed to the Camp Dean of the camp you will be attending. Dear friends in Christ! The Living Spring camp would like to cordially invite you to the 2015 Youth Winter Bible Camp at Highland Lakes in Martinsville, IN December 27-31, 2015! This camp will be a fantastic and memorable event. We look forward to it as another opportunity for us all to share our time together at this beautiful place where you can catch up with one another, have sports, games and fun, and most importantly, it presents an invaluable opportunity to give praise to the Lord and indulge into His holy Word to learn more about our Lord Jesus Christ! The topic this year is "If you believe, you will see the glory of God" (John 11:40). We were able to secure this location for $170 for the entire duration of the camp per person. We encourage everyone to come earlier rather than later to be able to appreciate the time we have together. Furthermore, on December 31, 2015 immediately after the Camp, everyone is invited to the Grace of Christ Baptist Church in Evansville, IN for the New Year celebration! Robots aren’t just inventions in a galaxy far, far away— they exist here on Earth, at your local library! Join us this Winter Break for a Star Wars-themed robotics camp. Each day we’ll watch a clip from the movies, and build a LEGO robot inspired by the film. The library will be hosting two four-day camps—attending all four days is not mandatory, but each class will build upon the previous classes. No prior experience in LEGO robotics necessary, but seating is limited so RSVP is required. Grades 5-12 (Overnight/Commuter Camp) Check-in will be from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM on Monday morning in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center. Parents are welcome to attend the training sessions and observe. A medical release form has been enclosed and the registration process will move along much more quickly if this form is filled out (or mailed in) prior to checking in. We will begin camp at 9:00 AM throughout the week. Free time will be from 3:00 to 4:45. Campers may go back to their dorm to relax, play pool, ping-pong or stay in the gym and watch the camp counselors play volleyball. Dinner is from 4:45 to 5:30 with games from 6:00 to 8:00. If you are a commuting camper attending an overnight camp week, the cost of your dinner meal is not included in the camp tuition you paid. Therefore, you may purchase a dinner meal plan for the week at the time of registration.
