Tim Miles is pleased to announce the 5th year of the Tim Miles Basketball Camps for the summer of 2016. This camp has an emphasis on the fundamentals of the game and is geared towards younger children of all abilities. Each cam4 is designed to support our mission of growing junior golf within the Middle Atlantic Section of the PGA by incorporating the concepts of the PGA Sports Academy. Through a variety of stations, drills, and activities, junior golfers will experience and learn the proper ideas and techniques of golf. This camp uses famous artists and illustrators as inspiration for creating artistic masterpieces. Campers will enjoy learning about artists such as Renoir, Degas, van Gogh, OKeeffe, and Picasso before creating their own impressionist paintings, clay sculptures, self-portraits, large flower paintings, and cubist compositions. We will also examine works of childrens book illustrators and create collages and paintings in their styles. Inspired Artists will be led by Brookwood Schools after-school instructor extraordinaire, Marleen Wood. She ties together her love of art history with her passion for encouraging children to create art. 978 525 6244

This course will focus on choral work and youll dive deeper into the art of listening as you build harmonies layered with solo moments. Song selection will come from around the globe as you discover your own creative singing voice. Youll be training like a professional through serious voice warm ups and voice manipulation while you sing through music genres such as the blues, rock, pop, gospel and vocal jazz. Youll work on stage presence and mic control as you figure out & break down what makes a great performance - which together youll create for a grand last day finale. All levels of singers, welcome! Explore the world of erupting volcanoes, sparkling rocks and minerals, traveling sediments, gigantic earth movements and crazy prehistoric animal fossils. Mornings will feature fun nature education and the afternoons are full of nature related recreation. End the week preparing a classic "stone soup" with ingredients you choose, plus our extra special soup stone! Morning and afternoon snacks are provided.
