Summer Daze Swim Camp - LIFE Community Center
Make a splash this summer at Summer Daze Swim Camp. This week we will have swimming lessons, learn about water safety, play water games, travel to local swimming holes, and take a trip to a water park. Theres no better way to start your summer! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Make sure your child (grade 1-6) is a part of this awesome summer. Guided by our American Red Cross Certified Staff, this summer promises to be one adventure after the other. Campers should bring a swimsuit and towel, sunscreen and bug spray, a water bottle and lunch everyday. Afternoon snack will be provided. Children should wear clothes that can get dirty and comfortable shoes that they can wear while running and hiking. Camp will run from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Before and after care is available for an additional fee. A weekly newsletter will give parents and campers an idea of what to expect each week. Join us for a summer of adventure, friendship and fun! Nerf Counterstrike - Camp Hickory Hill
Your Commander will lead your squad on training missions where you will learn to move with stealth and approach the enemy without detection. You will use camouflage face paint and clothing to become invisible in the trees. When your training is complete, you will prepare for the ultimate test; taking on your counselors in a full counterstrike operation! There will still be plenty of time for other traditional camp activities including swimming, Catan ball, campfires and Bible Exploration!! Try it all! Climb the treehouse, have a dance party, or learn how to tie knots. Dabble in your favorite camp pastimes, including art, outdoor skills, and teambuilding. Comedy Club 3-5 (Monday) - Janney Elementary School
Whether your child is a real ham or standup comedian, they will love this class. Improvisation games, made up characters, silly settings, and ridiculous problems to solve, they will use it all to make the audience crack up! This class is perfect for the shy student who needs to be comfortable in front of the class or the class clown who has some wacky characters up their sleeves. Students will participate in ensemble building, improvisation games, and exercises to stretch their imagination as they develop skills to think on their feet.
