Instructor: Awyee Storey Ages: 8-15yrs Mon ? Friday, Jul 11-15, 9:00am -3:00pm (M-TH); 9:00am-12:00pm (F) Location: Fairfax High School Field House (Gym) Led by former Washington Wizards forward Awvee Storey and his experienced staff, the camp will feature professional instruction for boys and girls, with the instruction designed for the specific skill level of the participants. Coach Storey was a standout collegiate basketball player at Arizona State University, before continuing his playing career professionally in the NBA with the Wizards, New Jersey Nets, and Milwaukee Bucks. Storey also competed professionally internationally in New Zealand and the Philippines. The instruction will focus on the game?s fundamentals, while instilling the importance of commitment, teamwork, character, and sportsmanship helping each camper reach his/her full potential. College Soccer Academy is holding a College ID Camp at the So Cal Sports Complex in Oceanside, California. There will be college coaches from Cal, and other schools TBD, running the sessions. Division I, II, and III coaches will be attendance to scout and recruit the event. A great opportunity to get seen by numerous coaches and learn great deal to take your game to the next level! (There will be specific goalkeeper training both days) Tuesday: 9AM-3PM Wednesday: 9AM-4PM ***There is a $50 non-refundable deposit. Do you love learning about plants, animals, and the natural world? Do you want a chance to get outside, play, and explore this summer? Our nature camp will foster a personal connection to the natural world as we become naturalists and adventures fro the week! We will study a wide variety of topics such as plants and animals, ecosystems, outdoor exploration, nature crafts, and lively indoor and outdoor games. Each day campers will return home with some new fun facts, a game they learned, or even a story about what they found on a nature hike. Enjoy top-flight instruction from the staff of Stanford Hall of Famer John Whitlinger and Stanford /USPTA Pro Tom Sarsfield. Students provide own rackets. Junior Novice Tennis Age 10-14: For beginning to low intermediate players, two courts grouped by ability. Develop the essential techniques with emphasis on control, depth, and direction on the "78 ft. court" with regulation tennis balls. Its the perfect time to plan our garden, start seedlings, paint signs, and cook. Its the perfect time to follow monarchs online and see how many sightings have been reported. Come and join the fun!
