Royal Family Kids Annual Fall Shopping Bazaar 2016 - Princeton, WV
We’re looking forward to another successful Bazaar this fall! If you missed out on our annual Fall/Christmas Bazaar last year, you certainly won’t want to miss this year! A fun filled day of shopping with local crafters and vendors to support Royal Family Kids Camp of Princeton, WV which is a camp for abused, neglected, and at risk children of Southern WV. (More information on our organization can be found on our Facebook page) Table Fees are $25.00 per table and each vendor/crafter will need to provide 1 item to donate for the silent auction. Table fees and silent auction proceeds go to the camp. – Should you need a larger space please message us and we will accommodate you with a fee to best fit the space needed. (Tables are provided at the venue and measure 6ft long) There will only be ONE vendor from a product sale. Teen Plein Air: Art In Motion Camps #1 & 2 - Bow, WA
Choose from Camp #1 July 11th-15th or Camp #2 July 18th-July 22nd. Class Cost per week $87.50. Camp #1: 3:00pm-5:00pm -- Plein Air (**Students encouraged to participate in Part I & II) "Examining our surroundings in detail, seeing beauty not only in the spectacular but also in the smallest growing things" (Lowenfeld) . In addition to work in our cozy studio, small Plein-Air outings will be held at 2 locations during this one week workshop. Students will learn how to connect with their surroundings. Students develop their observation skills and increase their knowledge about the world around them. Parents expected to drive students to the Plein-Air location specified prior to class. Youth Sports Performance Training Camp - Atlanta, GA
Kids ages 6-18 are invited to take their sports performance to the next level at this camp designed to maximize their athletic potential. History Comes Alive with Classical Theater - Wizard of Oz - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
This is a truly unique course especially designed for the home-schooled that incorporates history, literature, and performance. This classic novel/play will be interpreted and performed as students discuss the playwright and the time in which the author lived. History comes alive as students also create living portraits of imaginary and real characters during that period of history. The Wizard of Oz is a beloved classic. A cyclone carries Dorothy and her dog, Toto, to the magical land of Oz, where they encounter all the famous characters from the pen of L. Frank Baum... Dorothy, the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Woodsman, the rubber-legged Scarecrow, Glinda the Good Witch, Oz, Munchkins, Winged Monkeys, The Witch of the North, and the evil Witch of the West, who is determined to destroy Dorothy and steal the secret of her magical slippers.
