Come join the excitement of Adventure Camp with the San Bruno Parks and Recreation Services Department. Adventure Camp provides a fun and exciting experience for teens ages 11-13. Leaders provide a safe environment that helps teens develop social skills and the appreciation for the environment. A regular weekly schedule may include field trips such as movies, bowling, ice skating, miniature golf, swimming, pizza parties, and featured trips. A $20 late fee will be charged for those who need camp on the Monday of each camp session. This fun filled camp is intense and filled with training that is unique to this event. Learn knife and star throwing, Krav Maga, Combat Weapons, Team Sparring, ATA Xtreme, Team Building Drills and a lot more. We finish the training on Saturday night with a huge bonfire and smores! It is guaranteed to be one of the best events of the year and is open to ages 12 and above. Cost: $249 for 1st familymember, $199 for 2nd + (cost covers food and lodging)

June 20 – July 1 | Mon – Fri Half Day: 9:00am – 12:00pm | Full Day: 9:00am – 4:00pm June 2016 will kick off our 8th annual Kid’s Dance Camp. Kid’s Camp at Polaris is designed for students ages 6-12 and offers a full or half day experience, Monday through Friday. Camp is a great way for kid’s to have fun while sampling all that Polaris Dance Theatre has to offer. A typical day at Kid’s Camp includes several dances classes of multiple disciplines including Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Aerial, Tap classes and more! Students also have the opportunity to express their own creativity through improv classes, games and a daily art project. The most vital components of any race are starts and turns. With a focus on power, speed, and efficiency, the Tiger Starts and Turns Camp will help campers maximize their race potential. This popular camp is designed to enhance starts, turns, and breakouts for all four strokes and is open to all swimmers age 8-18. DISCOVERY - SELF DEFENSE! - Notre Dame Academy
The Martial Arts Center will teach girls in 7th -12th grade some self defense techniques through practical, straight forward instruction that is designed to be fun! Students will learn that fear is not the key to staying safe; instead they will learn skills infused with humor and cautious optimism. Through the correct mixture of attitude and technique, anyone can learn how to keep herself safe. Increasing your ability to protect yourself by at least 10% puts you in an elite category. Horse Camp for a Day 3/25/16 - The Greenwell Foundation
Horse Camp for a Day is for children ages 7 – 14 (by first day of camp session) Based on our popular summer horse camps, Horse Camp for a Day offers similar activities in a one-day format. Riders will be given challenges whether they have never ridden a horse at all, or have some experience. Campers will ride once during the day with a qualified riding instructor. Other activities may include a horse-themed craft, a sensory trail hike, or a horse- themed activity with a horse such as ground work, braiding their mane, or giving them a pony pedicure! An afternoon snack will be provided. Horse Camp for a Day is offered on five days of Spring Break and on occasional days off from St. Marys County Public Schools. PM Extended Care and Drop-In Extended Care is available. Riding will be cancelled and an alternate activity provided if weather conditions make the arena unsafe. We will not cancel lessons lightly as the campers really are here to ride. Horse Camp for a Day operates rain or shine. No refunds will be given in the event there is no riding. 301-373-9775
3B. Summer Camp - Build Your Own Computer-4 Days - Gizmos & Gadgets Kids Lab
In this hands-on investigation, kids will learn how a computer works by building a simple Raspberry Pi computer. Once the building is done, the fun continues while kids create their own versions of simple games and code in Minecraft on the computer they just built. We will have plenty of time off the computer as well when kids have the chance to learn and test game design and programming through active play. Kids keep their Raspberry Pi mini computer, WiPi, keyboard and all cables, as well as all their projects that they have compiled during the week! (858)964-0645

Bump, set, SPIKE! Boys and girls will both enjoy this lifetime sport by learning the proper techniques for serving, passing, setting and hitting on the hard court. At the end of each day, new skills are applied in a game setting, and effective teamwork and good sportsmanship are emphasized. Campers should wear comfortable clothing for movement, tennis shoes, and knee pads (optional). All registrants agree to the policies and procedures of Youth Programs, including change fees, cancellation fees, deadlines, and other details found in the program materials and parent handbook.
