Learn basic navigation to participate in the fun hobby of Kayak Geocaching! Geocaching is a real life treasure hunt using a device that has GPS. Use charts, compasses, navigation, and GPS to track your kayak path. Make an item to let other geocachers know weve discovered a particular treasure, participate in the first ever NESS geocache kayak trail and go geocaching in different locations around Stonington and beyond! We're back. Save the dates, we'll be taking over Roseland Resort again for a weekend bonanza of pool parties, camp fires, club ragers and sunrise excursions int he woods together. Year 1 was a beautiful start. We're ready to take this thing to the next level for year 2. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR NOW: - Roseland has a 20 year tradition of being a clothing optional, men-only resort. We must respect the rules and history of the space and leave this in place for the 2016 edition. - This year, we have streamlined the process – your ticket to the campout will be included in your lodging at time of booking. No need to buy a separate ticket from us. - The entire resort is currently blocked off for us. Bookings will begin sometime in the next few weeks. As we experience true love–a love that is there in the hard times as well as the good, a love that is there when we’re doing well or when we are failing, a love that will walk with us through healing as well as celebrate our victories–that is when we find true freedom. This kind of love is only found in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. This will be a weekend of finding this kind of love as our speaker, Kevin Butcher, guides us through this topic. Join us for a weekend of fun community and spiritual growth as we head to Angola, Indiana for this year's Fall Getaway! Check is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14th. For Boys and Girls Ages 4-12 years old 9AM-4:00PM CHOOSE ANY 3 FULL DAYS This program offers children a chance to participate in many different sports such as basketball, soccer, floor hockey, volleyball, and other physical education type activities. The camps concentrate on instruction which will take a campers game to the next level, with the emphasis on mental conditioning, course management, and the short game. By utilizing tournament-like conditions, campers are taught and tested on those skills identified as being mandatory to successfully compete at even the highest competitive junior golf levels.
