Students in this camp will explore creative options with blocks, then work with FIRST LEGO League Jr. simple machine kits to explore key scientific models like levers, pulleys and gears. By the end, they will be on their way to FLL Jr. participation in the upcoming competition season, or just have enjoyed great hands‐on opportunities to learn some basic engineering. Heather Downs CC is proud to offer the Summer Junior Golf Camp This clinic is open to intermediate golfers, both boys and girls, ages 11 and older. 45 minutes will be spent teaching the basis fundamentals of putting and chipping at the practice green and 45 minutes will be spent at the driving range teaching the mechanics of a proper full swing. Director of Golf, Dan Sutton and Assistant Professional, Grant Bollin will be on hand to lead the instruction in an enjoyable atmosphere for all participants.
