What Are the Activities like at Summer Camp?
The whole point of summer programs is to keep youth busy. Thus, most kids wake up and have breakfast by 8am. Traditional activities include arts and crafts, sports, swimming and boating. There are groups that offer specialized or advanced activities like archery, horseback riding, and sailing. An activity like horseback riding may have an additional cost or require that youth come to camp with special equipment and clothing. Specialty camps have specific classes or activities linked to their mission. For example, academic programs will include classes, religious camps will have Bible study, and leadership-focused programs may have public speaking sessions....

Summer Camp Expo - Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Find the perfect summer camp(s) for your child! Get information on all the fun things there are to do this summer and meet over 30 great camps in our area while enjoying live entertainment, carousel and train rides, crafts and face painting. There will be live kids rock band performances from Live Music Community. Also, JupiterBounce.com will be there with some bouncing fun for the kiddos. This free event is brought to you by Macaroni Kid of Palm Beach Gardens- Jupiter in conjunction with Downtown at the Gardens and charity partner Resource Depot. The Summit - Youth Ministry Retreat - Westcliffe, CO
A retreat for anyone working professionally in ministry with youth, young adults, children, and families. Designed as a time of personal renewal, professional development, continuing education, and networking with other Youth Directors, Pastors, and Christian Educators . Time is spent in a peaceful mountain setting surrounded by God’s creation and wonderful people. Days are filled with time to relax, play, worship and be engaged in conversation and learning. Nutmeg Potters with Alice Chittenden (Ages 12-17) - Young People
A number of our projects this week will be inspired by the natural world that surrounds us in Connecticut, the Nutmeg State. The seashore, woods and fields of our state lend themselves to three-dimensional and decorative applications. Some of the things I have planned are bird feeders, bug mugs and fancy fish sculptures. Flowers, leaves and animals can adorn our wheel thrown pots. You will have some time to work on your own ideas. There will be outdoor sketching, glazing and painting. Camp San Jose @ Berryessa Spring Break Camp - Berryessa Community Center
At Camp San Jose your child gets an unforgettable, traditional camp experience for under $5 an hour! Your child will be playing exciting games, sports, creating cool arts and crafts projects, singing funny songs and venture on a memorable field trip. Our price includes a low leader to child ratio-1:10, a field trip, new friendships, disguised learning and much more! Campers need to bring lunch, water and sunscreen everyday. A camp shirt is provided for each child on the day of the field trip to keep. Titan Volleyball Camp - Antelope Crossing Middle School
Learn the basics of volleyball, including passing, setting, serving and hitting. Introduction to this exciting team sport will be taught in a non-competitive and fun atmosphere. Defensive/Passing Camp - Alaska Airlines Center
This camp will focus on teaching and fine tuning passing and defensive skills. This includes liberos as well as any player who plays defense or who is in serve receive. Space limited to 48 campers. Variations Div 4 Wednesday - Chicago Multi-Cultural Dance Center
