Activities*** A full range of balanced programs will be offered, from exciting Jewish thematic activities to sports, arts and crafts, hiking, games, music, Oneg Shabbat and singing with Craig Parks. Staff*** Our staff are mature, well trained Head Counselors, Counselors, and and Counsels-in Training. We assist campers in forming a positive self-image as Jews and human beings, while guiding the individual camper in his/her personal development. We provide each staff member with excellent training and supervision, and evaluation. Camp Simcha has one of the best camper to counselor ratios in San Diego. Swimming*** Recreational swimming at the Lomas Santa Fe Boys and Girls Club twice weekly. Camp Simcha counselors will assist the trained and certified staff. Field Trips*** Weekly camp trips will be to places within San Diego County. Afternoon extended care must be arranged with the camp directors. I was eager to enroll at Camp Newaygo for one important reason: we could all share the summer fun as a family. Sure it's important for the kids to have their own time but when we can make memories (and plenty of crafts!) together as a family then it makes our vacation all the better. Youth Football Camp - Des Arc, AR
This is a NON-CONTACT sports camp. Each camper will receive positive individual instruction on the game of football. Local 2016 area college football signees along with former Arkansas Razorbacks Clint Stoerner, Tommy Harris, and Matt Harris will be in attendance. Ouachita Baptist University All-American Brent Calhoun, Waymon Johnson, and Dallas Cowboy great Cliff Harris will encourage youth players to work their hardest at the camp. High school athletes, coaches and football staff will work at the camp in order to provide each camper with quality instruction. Each camp session will also deal with the teaching and discussion of character issues such as honesty and sportsmanship. Each camper will get a chance to earn awards at the end of camp day. This is a great opportunity for local young boys and girls to have a great time in a fun camp. Don’t worry parents. There will plenty of water provided… The cost of the camp is $40 per camper. The camp tuition includes all camp activities, a camp T-shirt, hydration station, and lunch. Concession stand will be provided and parents are invited to stay and watch! Summer Stretch Yoga Camp: 4th of July Theme - Marine Park Building
Weekly Theme: 4th of July Balance like a palm tree, roar like a lion, and stretch like a giraffe in this fun-filled yoga camp! Camp begins with a 40 minute class where students learn new poses and breathing techniques each day on an imaginary yoga adventure. Class ends by relaxing with peaceful music. After class, the excitement continues with yoga stories and games, a break for lunch, and a creative take-home art activity. Art projects are yoga themed and will relate to the poses learned that day. Fun activities throughout the week include parachute games, treasure hunts, outdoor craft time, face painting, and more! Yoga has been shown to improve focus, confidence, and coordination in children. Please bring a snack, lunch, and water. A $15 nonrefundable material fee is due to the instructor on the first day of camp. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION (for Santa Monica Residents only) runs March 2 (6 am) through March 8.
