Camp is 9AM to 4PM (no Before or After-Care is available, no exceptions) Theme 1 Mining and Crafting Campers will face new challenges each day, building models and crafting key elements from the popular Minecraft® game. Minecraft® is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. As always, the mission of the camp dictates what campers should bring. However, no matter the focus of the program, there are some universal essentials to bring. Packing is hard. Having a general packing list makes it easier for parents and children to handle this process.

Throughout the week, we will learn about the history of belly dance, do exercises to inspire creativity and self-expression, and of course...dance! Different styles of belly dance will be introduced through hours of drills and practice, forming into a choreography that participants will have the opportunity to perform at the end of the week in a safe and supportive environment (performance optional). We will also study Middle Eastern music and become acquainted with the rhythms that are so fun to dance to! Not only is belly dance a GREAT form of exercise, it is also a great way to make friends and become part of a community.
