LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Summer Stretch Yoga Camp: 4th of July Theme - Marine Park Building
Weekly Theme: 4th of July Balance like a palm tree, roar like a lion, and stretch like a giraffe in this fun-filled yoga camp! Camp begins with a 40 minute class where students learn new poses and breathing techniques each day on an imaginary yoga adventure. Class ends by relaxing with peaceful music. After class, the excitement continues with yoga stories and games, a break for lunch, and a creative take-home art activity. Art projects are yoga themed and will relate to the poses learned that day. Fun activities throughout the week include parachute games, treasure hunts, outdoor craft time, face painting, and more! Yoga has been shown to improve focus, confidence, and coordination in children. Please bring a snack, lunch, and water. A $15 nonrefundable material fee is due to the instructor on the first day of camp. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION (for Santa Monica Residents only) runs March 2 (6 am) through March 8. Students will leave with the skills needed to work confidentially in the kitchen. This program is held for 3 hours a day over 4 days. Cost is $150 and includes a cookbook/workbook. Camp is limited to 10 students.

Create amazing "green" artwork of all colors from an exciting variety of art materials in the TPS Creative Craft Laboratory! Experiment with new techniques to recycle, upcycle, and decorate with items that would otherwise be discarded. Each day, campers will explore different media and learn new art-making skills, with time to work on guided and independent projects. Draw, paint, sculpt, sew, and design trash into practical, beautiful art treasures in this week of creative fun! Early drop off is available at no additional cost from 8:00am-9:00am. For children ages 6weeks to 5 years, whose parent is mentoring a group of students during morning class times. NOTE: Later on in the registration you will be asked about the optional add-ons, which includes a per family insurance fee and a per family supply fee. Each family must pay an insurance fee of $30 and a community supply fee of $50. You DO NOT need to add this on for each child you register, but you MUST add this on for ONE of the children you register. Be sure to note which child you add on to.
