A camp for kids that will teach them some survival skills in addition to fitness, character building, team work and problem solving skills. Oh yeah, we will have some fun as well. Monday through Friday from 9am until 2pm. Ages 6 to 10. $175 for the week. Family discounts available as well as a discount for current Rockpile students.
Winter Break Camp for the Teen Horse Lover - Spring Grove, IL
Up to three fun filled days (Monday, 12/28; Tuesday, 12/29 and Wednesday, 12/30 - you pick which day(s) you want to be here) with horses for those 13 to 17 years of age. No previous riding experience necessary. All riders, no matter their experience level will have fun playing in our indoor arena with our holiday trail course. The course can be ridden a number of different ways enabling the camper to build on their riding skills no matter where they are starting from. Campers will also be helping with some part of the day-to-day care of the horses and ponies that live here at Meadowsweet Ranch and each day will include some educational time in our heated club room. Breaks and lunch will be enjoyed in our heated club room also.

This class is a crash course into the exciting world of stop motion! Students will discover how stop motion animations such as Wallace & Gromit and The Nightmare Before Christmas are created and explore the software, technology and theory behind them! Spacing, timing, acceleration of motion, project planning and execution will all be covered throughout the program, and use LEGO® to put each into practice. Every single class is hands-on and by the time the program is complete each student will leave with their own original stop motion animation! Survivor Camp is a challenging adventure camp that will develop outdoor living skills — specifically, build a raft to use on the pond, go mountain climbing at Pilot Mountain, learn knots and rope crafts and cooking over a fire. From Monday night to Thursday night survivor campers spend each night outside. Campers learn the leave no trace philosophy.
