2016 BACDS Family Dance Camp - Sonora, CA
Join us for six days full of dancing, music, crafts, swimming, games, storytelling, and too much fun…at Foothill Horizons Outdoor School near Sonora, CA. For those who haven’t been before, Family Week often takes some explaining. It’s not a “kids’ camp” or a “sleepaway camp”: it’s for the entire family. We share traditional camp accommodations: several families per bunkhouse, and everyone eats community style. During the morning, kids take classes in community dance, English team dance, and art, while parents are free to come dance, play music, sing, or simply relax. After lunch, families come back together, for swimming, jamming, playing games, and a series of great classes for all. During the week of camp, a community like no other grows, culminating in a demo day when everyone shows each other what we’ve been doing. Every evening, we come together to dance. While the family is the basic unit at camp, it’s pretty loosely defined: traditional parents and kids, aunts and uncles with nieces and nephews, or grandparents with their grandchildren. Rock The Lake 2016: "Jamb 4 The Lamb"
This is our 3rd annual event. It is an all day music festival held on the grounds of Rock Lake Christian Assembly in Vestaburg, Mi. The day begins with a 5K run in the morning with the music starting at noon and continuing through the day and into the night.

Berrien County Riders 2016 Annual MDA Summer Camp Run - Saint Joseph,
10 am sign up at the mark. $20.00 driver $10.00 rider. Ride leaves at noon on a scenic route to the Dowagiac Moose and then back to playland hall on Nickerson Ave. Lunch and dinner supplied. Cash bar. Door prizes and silent auction. We want to make this one of the largest events we have done for MDA and send as many kids to camp as we can at no charge to them. Instructor: Hearne Children will learn and apply a variety of social skills through board games specifically made for counselors and therapists. Game titles include: Journey to Friendsville STOP Relax and Think The Coping Skills Game Escape from Anger Mountain. Manners Matter Parents will receive a daily summary of skills learned in class so they can be reinforced at home. AccelerateKIDs Coding Jr. Camp introduces campers to the visual programming language M.I.T. Scratch. Campers will learn the basic principles behind computer programming. Over the course of the week students will program four games - Cat & Mouse, a maze game and more. Each programming lesson builds upon itself and reinforces the basic concepts learned in camp. Using their knowledge learned over the course, campers will choose one of their games to edit and present on the final day of camp. Each camper will leave camp with an AccelerateKID T-shirt. Weeblys user friendly interface will allow you to move so quickly that we will also introduce you to Pixlr. Pixlr is a webware substitute for Adobe Photoshop which will allow you to edit images with text and warp tools. Weebly and Pixlr allow you to publish your creative thoughts clearly and easily. Junior Summer Camp (Ages 10-16) 10AM-3PM - Grantwood Golf Course
The golf camps at Grantwood provide a safe and fun atmosphere for juniors of all skill levels to play golf, build friendships and create lifelong memories. Our camps are staffed by PGA Professionals and instructors who focus on all important aspects of the game including putting, chipping, full swing, on-course play and rules and etiquette. Registration fee includes all golf fees, range balls, refreshments, lunch daily, prizes and more! This is a great opportunity for the aspiring avid junior golfer to learn many new aspects to improve scores and enhance their enjoyment of the game.
