Teen Script Writing & Directing Camp - Seattle, WA
This summer camp is for teens 13 - 17, who want to learn how to create a production ready short script. Students will be paired in groups of two and will work collaboratively in creating a shootable three to five page script. Students who participate in TheFilmSchool Camp will receive guaranteed admission into the SIFF Teen Production Camp (separate registration and fee through SIFF Education). Scripts from the TheFilmSchool Camp will be chosen for production in the SIFF Teen Production Camp and will be shot at Seattle Center. Date: August 15 - August 19. Kid's Beginner Sewing & Art Camp with Sandy Gillespie! - Melbourne, FL
KID'S BEGINNER SEWING ART CAMP June 15 - 17 @10am - 2pm Ages: 12-16 This is not just an ordinary "learn to sew" camp. Our students will design and create their own fabric using surface design techniques. They will learn how to use a sewing machine and also, basic sewing skills. With their new found skills they will sew a super cool backpack and pillowcase. Lots of paint, screens and unique personal designs will abound. The students will have fun experimenting with stamps, screens and printmaking to create their fabric art! We encourage our students to be Fearless and unique!!! All supplies included. Taught by Sandy Gillespie: Fiber Artist, Baker and Crafter We have sewing machines, but it's best for your child to learn on their own machine if you have one...otherwise, no worries! SPORTS - FENCING & ARCHERY CAMP - Notre Dame Academy
FENCING: Learn the basic positions, footwork, terminology, safety rules, etiquette and the sportsmanship of foil fencing. In partnered drills, students will learn to advance, retreat, thrust, lunge, parry and riposte, culminating in a fencing tournament! SJC - Performs - Session I - SJC Long Island
For the week of July 5th, there is no class on July 4th. When adding Before Care, After Care, or Lunches, you will select additional quantities to cover the full 3 weeks as needed. Theres something for every young theater artist this summer at SJC! Boys and girls entering 3rd through 8th grade will be divided by age to learn a broad range of performance skills, including acting, singing, and dance. Campers will continue to challenge their imaginations with classes in improvisation, playwriting, and production design. Our professional staff of New York theater artists and educators will lead the groups through creative exercises to build an ensemble where every camper gets the chance to shine! Both of our 3-week camp sessions culminate in a unique performance showcase open to family and friends.
