Karma Kids Winter Break Camps - Nags Head, NC
We are opening up our doors just for the kids this holiday...because your children should have a place they want to go and have fun with their friends! We will have Karma Kids Winter Break Camps at The Studio December 19-23 & December 26-30, 2016 from 8:15am-5:15pm. We will celebrate the upcoming holidays with crafts, games, yoga, mindful activities and more! We will get outside for scavenger hunts, build ginger bread houses and explore yummy foods in our holiday food wars contest! Weekly fee is $155 and we do offer daily drop in for $45 per day.

INVITE FRIENDS WHO MAY BE INTERESTED. The CAKE Village African Culture camp is an immersive cultural experience. It's a great way for both Heritage learners and non-heritage learners to expand their knowledge of specific ethnic group from various parts of the African continent. Our goal is to foster a cultural connection to the chosen African ethnic group and enhance cultural awareness, appreciation and heritage esteem in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Engineering Is Fun Grades 2-5 (Wednesday) - Janney Elementary School
Engineering Fun is an excellent hands on activity based STEM curriculum. Students learn basic concepts about Energy, Light, Motion and more. This class does not use games to engage kids in engineering/science concepts. Students learn thinking and reasoning skills needed for success. Engineering Fun engages children to apply what they know about science and math through hands on activities are based on real-world technologies and problems, they help children see how disciplines like math and science are relevant to their life. Open to Philadelphia Freedom faceoff players first due to field rental. Each Winter Open Faceoff Days will consist of warm ups, presentation and group practice of specific faceoff techniques as well as real time faceoffs. Faceoff techniques will include footwork, stance, hand position, primary move, counter move, GB play, wing play, stick work, and shooting instruction, etc. Individual player observation and instruction will occur throughout. Clinic will conclude with a skill appropriate king of the hill.
