Rutgers 2016 Design Intensive - Civic Square Building
Rutgers 2016 Design Intensive Website: This program seeks to develop the graphic design skills of motivated high school artists. Created and supervised by Mason Gross faculty, the curriculum focuses on core principles of design while introducing relevant software. Participants will become familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign while exploring visual problems and producing work suitable for a college admissions portfolio. The Design Intensive includes studio work, technical demonstrations, group critiques, and a field trip to New York City to visit working design studios. Primary emphasis is placed on building visual awareness, and on making software serve the designers vision. All students registering for the Design Intensive must also complete a Participant Questionnaire: / 848-932-8618

Mountain Friends Camp one week session is a fun immersion in community and the great outdoors! First time, younger campers, or anyone who feels like one week is the right length are all welcome. 4352321333.0

Classes are at 8 a.m.-10 a.m. or 10:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Students required to take two courses will have classes at both times. Students register for the course/s required. Class times will be assigned based on availability. Only for St. Thomas incoming freshmen who are required to take a summer course(s) in Language Arts, Reading and/or Pre-Algebra as a condition of acceptance. If one or more of these courses are checked on the Pink Course Selection Sheet, the student must successfully complete the course(s) in order to continue as a St.Thomas student for the fall semester. Do you love restaurant camp so much that you want to attend twice this summer? Enjoy the same popular features as Restaurant Camp I, but cook ALL NEW recipes! Restaurant Camp I is not a pre-requisite to attending Restaurant Camp II. Open and operate your very own restaurant in Kitchen Kids popular Restaurant Camp! Calling all budding chefs, entrepreneurs, and restaurant enthusiasts! Chefs will tour the kitchen and front of house of a local restaurant, and immerse themselves in every step of the process: choose the concept and name, design the decor, create a menu and logo, learn restaurant jobs and etiquette, create, cook, and serve their signature dishes to friends and family. Throughout the week kids will also prepare delicious recipes and safely learn kitchen fundamentals, palate development, and culinary techniques.
