Strength and Conditioning, Expert Training from some of the leagues finest coaches, All Teams are welcomed. Football season is just around the corner. For all levels ages 6-14. For those that have never played the game by are interested in playing this fall, camp is a great way to get you prepared for the fall season. Camp is every Saturday starting June 11 from 9am till Noon for six weeks. If you have not registered you can still attend camp. Camp is free of charge. Minors must be accompanied by a chaperon or responsible adult (21+) who assumes responsibility and accountability for both safety and behavior of the minor. DRESS CODE: Your dressing should reflect the professional nature of an Adventist Youth and Young Adult and should respect the principles of Christian modesty and simplicity. ROOMS: 2 people per room. All campers are required and highly encouraged to bring money to cover the key deposit of $20 per key. It will be the shared responsibility of the occupants of the room to maintain the security of the room and return the key in perfect condition. Deposits will be returned at check-out. Bring your young adult to Creve Coeur Camera for a fun filled experience and learn photography from the Pros. 3 SESSIONS - 3 Hours each FEBRUARY 11, 18 & 25 Week One We will cover the basics of photography; exploring Olympus camera settings, Exposure fundamentals of ISO, shutter speed and aperture, Focusing techniques and composition rules. Week Two Practical applications of what you learning in the first week. We will have photo “sets” in the classroom for you to practice and Explore shutter and aperture (f-stop) techniques as you learn about the “appropriate” lighting on your subject. Week Three Learn the basics of Adobe Lightroom; the photo editing software the Professionals use and how to enhance your images. You will edit some Images and choose one favorite that we will print and hang in our “Photo Gallery”. It will stay on our wall for 30 days and then you can take it to display on your wall. We are psyched to bring our dual passions for getting into nature and documenting our adventures to Mountain Kids! Campers will spend the first day learning what it takes to makes a compelling video, composition and audio recording. Campers will then learn how to prepare and pack for a backpacking trip, the 6 Ws of preparing for any outdoor trip, map reading and leave no trace principles. We will spend time writing and creating stories on a two night backpacking trip. During the second week, campers will share their time between the recording studio, the computer lab and getting outside to create a 2-3 minute video of their adventures. On Thursday evening we will celebrate with a screening of their work. Equipment Needed: • Backpacking pack, sleeping pad, a sleeping bag, and a mess kit (bowl, fork, spoon, cup). Some campers will need a tent to share. • A small camera or phone to capture stills and video • A small notebook and a pencil (There is an additional $25 materials fee in addition to camp tuition) 505-699-6230
