Join Miami Dolphins Linebacker Jelani Jenkins and 10 NFL players for #TheUltimateFootballCamp! This is a non-padded, light contact camp, aimed to improve youth football IQ through position-specific techniques, fundamentals and skills development. Campers will be coached by the Good Counsel football staff and numerous NFL and Division I football players. Both days will conclude with 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 scrimmages. Camp highlights include a Parents Seminar to review early onset strategies to help your child reach and succeed at the next level. Winter Thaw Youth Retreat - Stroudsburg, PA
BRING YOUR YOUTH GROUP ... WE'LL DO THE REST! Just as winter thaws and gives way to spring, a winter retreat for youth groups is offered to challenge your youth to remain strong in their faith and continue to turn to Jesus Christ for direction and comfort in the middle of the school year. An awesome speaker and terrific worship band will help make this weekend spectacular. Participating youth groups must provide chaperones for this retreat. Register by December 31, 2015 to receive a free t-shirt. After this date, t-shirts may be ordered.

WEEK 8: Ages 4-8: MARINE BIOLOGY AND OCEANOGRAPHY - SciTech Kids
Marine biology is the study of marine organisms in the ocean. Kids will learn what lurks in various bodies of water. First, they will use a probe to study the water in Central Park and collect water sample to identify species in their habitat. Students will visit a marine habitat to enjoy the oceans beauty. They will also build and deploy a ROV (remotely operated vehicle) to study deeper water in New York City to see how exploration is done. In addition, kids will learn about climate change and its impact on the environment. Lunch and snacks are included. 212-804-7055

Natural History - Week 2 - Natural History
Can you tell a bird from its call? Identify a mammal from its prints in the mud? Ever wonder where flying squirrels live? How to catch a snake or a bullfrog? Come join us as we adventure through creeks, marshes, forests, and the many natural places of beauty we have to explore on The Heights campus and all around the metropolitan area. The various ingredients of this camp make for a fantastic summer experience. From the personal attention and fun atmosphere of learning, to the outdoor adventures and games, this is an experience hard to beat or imitate. Activities: short classes, nature walks, daily journal, creek exploration, games, field and fishing trips, and specimen collection. Session I will focus on mammals, reptiles, and birds. Session II will focus on insects and trees. Staff Anton Vorozhko teaches 6th grade homeroom in the middle school.
