The Fall edition of our Teen Power Camp provides a fundamental fitness foundation for any high school student, scaled to anyone from first timers just trying to get into shape to high school athletes looking for structured off-season training or additional in-season work. The Teen Power Program will introduce athletes to bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, powerlifting and basic olympic weightlifting, all while under the close supervision of a certified CrossFit instructor. Our goal is to teach local Teens how to safely and efficiently move their body and external objects (bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, etc) through space, dramatically improving body composition and improving athletic ability in anyone. In this course, students will learn how to express themselves through the visual medium of motion pictures. Students will create an individual, independent film based on a story from their own life. We will work together through the entire process, from writing the story basics, and sequencing, to exploring setting, props and costuming. Free film making apps will be utilized. Students should bring their own digital device to use for filming. A few will be available for use onsite and for editing sessions.
