Don?t just sit at home during Spring break! Join Coach Marv Lim & MGB in this 4 day basketball camp, tournament and carnival. Each day, players will learn how to dribble, pass, shoot with balance, as well as learning proper defense using the most efficient and easy to understand drills. Players will play basketball games each day. On the last day, campers will participate in MGB?s trademark basketball carnival with TONS OF PRIZES and will play in a tournament complete with referees and scoreboard. This is an awesome event for kids who want to start playing basketball and for existing players who want to enhance their basketball knowledge & fundamentals! Campers will be divided according to skill level. Please bring a light snack each day, exercise clothing and a basketball. Yoga knows no age boundaries. It has benefits for the older and younger alike. Just B Yoga provides a quality yoga program for children that benefits the body and the mind. The camp is taught by Belinda Thurston and Monica Pino. Our classes teach children body awareness and positive self image while finding healthy movement exercises. Your son or daughter will be challenged to improve fitness & function using ropes, bands, body weight, some weights, rowing, running and more. Each class will different and will structured to develop all aspects of conditioning. JANUARY -Bobcats Academy (morning skills session for homeschooled/online school hockey players of any team) - Arcadia Ice Arena
Skills and Skating sessions at Arcadia Mon, Tues and Thurs 7:20AM-8:50AM for ALL youth hockey players who are homeschooled or online schooled regardless of school or hockey organization (example: if you are a peewee A player at Mission, homeschooled by your parents via chandler online prep you can still attend Bobcats Academy for morning skills sessions). Sessions must be paid monthly. Disclaimer***due to the increased cost of ice we can no longer offer free weds night sessions as part of the Academy package***. Session payments are for a full month and are non refundable except with a physicians note. There are no make up sessions for missed lessons available due to the nature of the program. 602-388-2112
Baker University Premier Soccer Camp - Baker University
The Baker University Soccer Programs and BCRC will host the Baker University Premier Soccer Camp this June 25-27 at the Baldwin City campus this summer for ages 10-18 for both boys and girls. The camp will be under the direction of Nate Houser, Baker University Director of Soccer; Davy Phillips, Head Coach of Baker University Womens Soccer Team and Matt Trumpp, former Baker University All-American and Sporting KC Academy Head Coach. The overnight camp will run from 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. each day with breakfast, lunch and dinner mixed in with technical sessions, tactical sessions, video/pool sessions, and evening games. An early bird special is in place for those that register before June 1. The costs include professional instruction, three meals a day, housing in on-campus residential halls and a camp T-shirt. With a plethora of on trend sewing patterns to choose from and bolts and bolts of tempting fabric, our Fashion & Machine Sewing program offers unlimited choices. Patient and skilled counselors work with individual campers of all abilities to teach all the necessary skills, from learning how to use a sewing machine to measuring, pinning, cutting, and putting patterns together.
