The camp will consist of numerous events in which you will be evaluated against other campers. This is the first opportunity for you to make an impression on the coaches at Tennessee State University. Beginning and intermediate students work together to learn and improve the basics of rock and pop instruments to prepare songs for a performance. Staff*** Our staff are mature, well trained Head Counselors, Counselors, and and Counsels-in Training. We assist campers in forming a positive self-image as Jews and human beings, while guiding the individual camper in his/her personal development. We provide each staff member with excellent training and supervision, and evaluation. Camp Simcha has one of the best camper to counselor ratios in San Diego. Swimming*** Recreational swimming at the Lomas Santa Fe Boys and Girls Club twice weekly. Camp Simcha counselors will assist the trained and certified staff. The Frankfort Park District would like to present Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp program for youth entering 7th ? 9th grade in the fall. This full day camp will provide plenty of outdoor activities, water days, arts & crafts, and a field trip each week that a teen will enjoy. Special guests will be invited to this camp including sports, art and science instructors. Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp will be held at Commissioners Park, located at 22108 S. 80th Avenue in Frankfort, along with the use of Chelsea Middle School, which is located next to Commissioners Park. Drop off and pick up will take place at Chelsea Middle School, located at 22265S. 80th Ave. The camp will run from 9 ? 4pm, Monday thru Friday, with a before and after care option. Bring a bag pack, lunch and water bottle each day. Lunch may be included on certain field trip days. Registration must be done in person at our main office located at the Founders Community Center, 140 Oak Street. A copy of your child?s birth certificate will be required at the time of registration. Join the YSI naturalists and develop your investigative skills to help us solve a natural mystery! Learn how to utilize your senses and then employ the tools of a scientist to delve more deeply into the mysteries of the world around us. Look for clues that animals leave behind and see what you can discover. Conduct tests on water and soil and learn how to use magnification tools to examine small evidence and to see things that hide from the naked eye. Finally combine your knowledge with that of other campers and apply these tools and insights to solve a natural mystery. 408-827-5507
