Extending the Fun of the Club
Our kids have been going to the local Boys and Girls club for the past year but this was the first time they ventured out for summer camp. I'm so glad they did. They got to try out so many new things. One of the big hits was the work in the garden. Now they want to turn out backyard into a vegetable patch. Kid's Summer Camp at the Mount - Colonial Heights, VA
A week of fun, faith, and friends for kids who have completed grades K-5. Camp will include: worship, Bible study, trips & more! Camp runs August 15-19, with lunch and family dinner provided. Each day starts at 9 am with family dinner each night at 5:30 pm. Total cost is $100 per child with nonrefundable $25 deposit due by June 12. Volunteers & Chaperones needed. Youth Ski Trip - Freedom, NH
Youth Ski Trip: for our 7th-12th grade students from Friday February 10th to Sunday February 12th we will be at Camp Calumet in West Ossipee, New Hampshire for a wonderful and blessed weekend of skiing and being in fellowship with one another. Make sure to sign up and get your forms located on the Sunday School Bulletin Board (they will be posted in January 2017). Make sure to come to the Parent & Youth meeting on February 5th before church at 8:30am to go over payments, fill out paperwork and go over the schedule for the Youth Ski Trip. Cost is $130.00 per person this year and if you are in need of rentals or lessons, it will be an additional $20.00 each (they are really $30.00 each, but Northside picks up the other $10.00 per lesson or/and rental for each person). Please make sure to attend our Brunch Fundraiser on February 5th after church to raise funds for travel and for our chaperones. If you are unable to go to the Fundraiser, you will need to pay an additional $25.00.
Mariapoch Teen Campout - Burton, OH
Teens ages 13-18--join us for a weekend of prayer and fun during the 60th annual pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Mariapoch in Burton, Ohio, Aug. 1-2, 2015. For the schedule, more information and to register, visit www.parma.org. To participate in this chaperoned campout program, you must submit a release form and payment by July 20. $225 for members of participating organizations; $250 for non-members Come to our waterfront to play music, get creative, bake bread and construct books while exploring the theme of "water." Children enjoy new experiences each day at four top arts centers, including the Guthrie Theater, Mill City Museum, Minnesota Center for Book Arts and MacPhail Center for Music. Campers will start each day at Mill City Museum and walk with camp leaders less than three blocks to each art organization. Early drop off between 8:30 - 9:00 and late pick up between 3:30 - 4:00 available.
