The focus of the camp is to teach the technical skills of soccer (passing, receiving, finishing, dribbling and heading) through imaginative and small sided games. Each day, the trainers will emphasize a different skill and the campers will try to master the skills through fun and exciting games. The trainers will encourage good sportsmanship, fair play and having fun! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- REFUND POLICY: A cancellation fee of $10 per transaction will be deducted for requested refunds/transfers. A refund (less $10) may be granted if the District is notified five (5) business days prior to the first class meeting. Refunds will NOT be granted within five (5) days of the first class meeting, or anytime thereafter. Registrants failing to be present for the program will forfeit all fees paid. No refund will be issued for programs and activities where the registration cost is $10 or less. Refer to your receipt for class location as they are subject to change from the Activity Guide. Girls Soccer: Preseason Prep Camp - Hopkins Campus
Join Blake varsity soccer coach Lindsay Youngdahl for a preseason prep camp to help you gear up for the upcoming fall soccer season! This camp, like the Blake soccer teams, will emphasize teamwork, leadership, hard work and good sportsmanship. Activities will include large group warm-ups, individual skill development and small group competitions. Bring a soccer ball, shin guards, water and sunscreen. In this camp well use all our senses and some helpful tools to explore natures gallery searching for inspiration for our own works of art. Using clay, paints, found materials, herbs, wood, sand and bits of fallen sky, campers will let their imagination run wild as they learn about the natural world and express themselves creatively.
