5 days of basketball skills training, conditioning and strength training. During these 5 days the participant will go through various skills training exercises and drills to enhance their ability to play. The participant will train endurance by completing multiple basketball movement drills. Strength will be trained through multiple cardio heavy weight light weight compound movements and plyometric. Things like balance and stability will also be trained within the 5 day period. Kid's Summer Cooking Camp! - Murfreesboro, TN
Check out our Kid's Summer Cooking Camp! Jr.Chefs warm up the kitchen as they're taught the finer points of food preparation, keeping a clean work space, recipes & measuring ingredients… all while having fun! Kids will learn to make delicious appetizers, amazing salads, mouth-watering sauces, yummy breakfast dishes and favorites such as pasta, vegetables, rice, potatoes, fish, meats, and soups. Yes, there will be desserts, too! Each class is three hours of hands-on cooking! During the last half hour everyone sits down to enjoy the food hat they’ve made. Each week is designed with a theme in mind and no two weeks are the same ~ so sign up for as many as you’d like! We will happily provide veggie options for kids that are vegetarians. Once you have signed your child up for cooking camp you will receive an email questionnaire from us regarding dietary restrictions, preferences, allergies, etc. Please fill that out and return to us via email, so that we can be fully aware and make whatever modifications necessary. The due date is strict and all those turned in late will be placed on a wait list. Forms must be turned in with at least partial payment to reserve your spot. Arrival/Pickup Times: Meet directly at Covecrest at 7pm on Friday, September 23. The retreat will end Sunday at Covecrest at 11:00am. Please have your parent pick you up from Covecrest at this time. Packing List: sleeping bag or sheets & blanket, pillow, towel, toiletries, changes of clothes to include Mass clothes, pajamas, Bible, journal, Rosary, water bottle, snack to share, warm clothes, tennis shoes. No spandex permitted in co-ed areas.

This Summer June 22nd-26th we are going to Teen Extreme Youth Camp at Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, FL. This camp is going to be awesome with exciting preaching from Kenny Baldwin, an indoor water park, paintball, bowling, swimming, ice skating, inline skating, rock climbing, team competitions, music competitions, and much more on the Pensacola Christian College campus. The cost for this camp is $195 per student. (same as last year!) Anyone going into 7th grade fall of 2015 through 2015 graduates can attend. Applications will be available in the teen room and Church foyer. Please turn in your paper application ASAP to reserve your spot!

Community Boating Center of New Bedfords mission is to "Teach positive life values to youth through boating." This summer we are working even more in incorporate US Sailings REACH program into our summer programs. The REACH program works to teach children science, technology, engineering and math in fun and innovative ways. It helps kids learn STEM subjects while engaging in fun land and water based activities. Our programs also follow the philosophy of safety, fun and learning in that order. This summer Community Boating has Chosen to assign students to their classes. Experience Gods wonderful creation right out our front door through various hikes, visits to State Parks, swimming, and so much more! Join us this year for the return of our nature camp campout and sleepover on the Twin Lakes campus complete with campfire, smores, movies, and an indoor sleepover! This is a fun, active, and educational camp! Some of the days can be moderately strenuous hikes and not suitable for very young children. For this reason, campers must be entering 2nd grade to attend. Please keep in mind the physical exertion of this camp when considering it for your child.
