This is the HALF DAY option for Young Chemist. It is time for Glues, Brews and Goos! From our stock pile of hundreds of recipes and formulas, we have chosen our top favorite chemistry activities. Campers will love exploring and examining the results of these crazy chemical concoctions! Campers will also realize the importance of measurement and sequencing, especially as they create some edible experiments! (If your child has any food allergies, please make sure to include that on your online registration form). These exciting experiments are sure to delight and spark the science minds of our youngest little campers, ages 4 and 5. Sample Projects: Invisible Ink, Funny Putty, Magic Bubble Paint, Make your own Chewing Gum, and much more! Our pre-k half day camps are 9am-1pm with pre camp options available as well! Parents gear up for an AMAZINGLY fun Spring Break. JAM Inc presents "jammin kids" Cheer, Dance, and Acting Camp, April 4th-8th. Camp will take place from 9am-4pm with the option of early drop off and late pick up. Youth Winter Camp - New Haven, MI
Haven Place will be doing a FREE Youth Winter Camp. Grades 6th thru 12th. This camp will be focusing on Community Service, Discipleship, We will be having youth grades 6 to 12 stay overnight for three nights. We will be doing community service hours on Friday and Saturday. We will be taking the youth to serve senior citizens in the surrounding area. The youth will be making gifts to bring to the elderly. The youth will also be disciples through a program through D-Now Studies called "The Pause" this discipleship course is four sessions and it will equip youth to learn how to seek God in a never ending multitasking environment. They will each receive a student book and t-shirt. We will be having a New Years Eve party for them. Live band and student mentors will be with them during the camp. Weather permitting we will be shoveling snow and going to sledding hills to pass out free hot cocoa and the gospel message. Possibly do "laundry Love" where we go into a local laundry mat and pay for everyones laundry to be done and more!! Urban Trail Bike Camp - Kids on Bikes Community Center
This fun and safety focused urban trail riding camp offers kids the opportunity to explore local trails that connect our city. Base camp will start at the Kids on Bikes community bike center, which allows connection by trail onto Shooks Run, Greenway Trail, and Midland Trail. Each day, participants will ride to a new location by utilizing bike trails and some neighborhood streets. The goal is to ride to a new destination each day such as to the library, Garden of the Gods Visitor Center, Velodrome, Popcycle Bridge, Pulpit Rock and more. The focus of this camp is on cycling safety, trail etiquette, bicycle commuting as transportation and basic bike maintenance skills like changing flats and solving gear problems. Please bring a sack lunch, a backpack, water bottle and a jacket. To prepare for camp, please make sure your child is comfortable on dirt with two wheels before registering for this program and would be comfortable riding 8-10 miles (sounds like a lot but we take a lot of breaks!). 7193553573.0
