Advocacy Training for Pennsylvania Youth Recovery Campaign - Philadelp
The Pennsylvania Youth Recovery Campaign and The Bridgeway School would like to formally announce that legislation is officially being sponsored in both the House of Representative (Rep. John Taylor –[R] Philadelphia) and the Senate (Sen. Pat Browne -[R] Pennsylvania) to promote recovery high schools in Pennsylvania. When enacted, this bill will create an alternate class of school designated Recovery High School. These schools will be suited to address the educational and recovery support needs of high school age/eligible youth dealing with substance use disorders in Pennsylvania. These schools will ensure that students receive the tools necessary to retain long term recovery, achieve academic greatness, and promote family inclusion, support, and overall wellness through education and recovery. We need your help to raise awareness for, and champion this cause on behalf of all Pennsylvania Youth. Please also join us for an Advocacy Training event on February 25th and 7pm at The Bridgeway School. Through this training we will equip all supporters and stakeholders with the knowledge and tools to advocate in support of this vital legislation. Discover skills of the ancient scout, nearly lost to history, if it weren’t for a handful of people who kept these practices alive. We’re a staff who has studied under scouts only once removed from the likes of Baden-Powell and Geronimo. A scout must live in honor, balance and harmony with the earth in order to blend with nature and move over any terrain like a shadow. There’s also an aspect of martial arts in this camp, using tricks of mind-over-matter to help us accomplish feats that seem impossible. 2016 Goalkeeper Premier Academy Soccer Camp - Steamboat Springs, Colorado
The Premier Goalkeeper Academy is designed with the dedicated and aspiring goalkeeper in mind. 9-Days of intense Goalkeeper training will elevate each players skills to the next level. Participants will participate within the Goalkeeper Performance Academy Session 1 and then continue their development into Goalkeeper Performance Academy Session 2 and incorporating a progression of training topics and concepts. SSA staff coaches work with an attention-to-detail approach that insures maximum development. Additionally, teaching aspiring habits for total peak performance, learning new recovery and rejuvenation protocols, and how to better manage the demands of top-level athletic training and competition. Finally, off field activities will be incorporated with choices such as Paddelboarding, yoga, mountain bike ride on Steamboats Mt Werner, zip lining and more. The Premier Academy is a 100% residential camp. Campers stay at the Colorado Mountain College campus in the dorms each night. During the 10 week class, students will work on singing, dancing and acting skills. Parents will be invited to the final class to watch the performance. This class is open to students in kindergarten-3rd grade at Terrace Park Elementary.
