This option is for campers ages 3 & 4 Camped Up is a day camp program located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for children with a hearing loss, using an oral approach. Our mission is to provide a community in which each child will be able to socialize with other hearing aid and cochlear implant users, gain self advocacy skills and have a blast in a unique listener friendly environment. For over 20 years FONZ Nature Camp has matched campers with an appreciation for the great outdoors. My 13 year old son has attended this camp for the last 3 years. He plans to go again next year as well. National Treasure Benjamin Franklin Gates, an historian and amateur cryptologist, is searching for a lost treasure of precious metals, jewelry, artwork, and other artifacts. The High School Harp Solo and Ensemble Workshop is open to entering grades 9, 10, 11 or 12. The program is an exciting week of solo and ensemble experiences exploring classical traditions and improvisational styles. In addition, participants have the opportunity to attend special master classes on a variety of topics including selected orchestral audition excerpts, chamber music, harp maintenance, and career discussions. Jedi Engineering Young Jedi will explore worlds far, far away and engineering principles right in front of them. Defeat the Empire by designing and refining LEGO X-Wings, R2-units, and settlements on far-flung edges of the galaxy. Imagination and engineering combine to create motorized and architectural projects such as energy catapults, shield generators and defense turrets.
