Paint that Pops! For rising 2nd-6th grade students If you love to paint but dont know where to begin, pop on in to this class and learn all of the basics of painting! Students will learn color mixing, painting techniques and applications. Each student will have created four vibrant masterpieces by the end of the week. Camp Jam Summer Camp - Atlanta, GA
Jammin Kids Inc. presents "Camp Jam," an all encompassing camp that gives your child hands on experience in many genres such as acting, dance, science, fitness, career exploration entrepreneurship, and more. Camp Jam is open to all children ages 5-13 (4 year olds are welcome if potty trained or turning 5 during the summer). Tuition is $70 per week (includes snacks). Parents, looking for a place to send the older kids? Camp Jam is extending an awesome invitation for volunteers ages 14-18 to help out with daily rountines for the younger campers. Volunteers also gain experience teaching classes and building life long confidence and leadership skills. Volunteers receive free weekly tuition but must make a commitment to attend camp daily. Camp will take place from 9am-4pm with early drop off and late pickup at an additional $5 per day Camp Jam hosts daily drop-ins for $25 per day and half days for $15 per day. Camp Jam is located at 4485 Fulton Industrial Blvd Suite B, at the Macnificent Events center. Kinder Camp is designed especially for preschoolers ages 3-5. We utilize hands on exploration and social interaction through art, cooking and science activities, songs and games in an age appropriate setting. Note: Campers must bring your own snack. Does your child love science? And love to cook? This course is where cooking meets science! In this session, the campers learn about the science that goes behind cooking. But not all recipes are edible! The children will make lots of fun putties and slimes too! From growing yeast to building a radio out of a fruit to baking the yummiest science of all! The children will learn that their kitchen is filled with wonderful products that create some very explosive, gooey, slimy, fun and delicious science! We will build some unique items with basic things from our kitchen, make silly putty, arctic slime, and even play dough with your own scented design. Students build a sandcastle without ever stepping foot on the beach! They also change the properties of chocolate to make their very own chocolate bars! With some basic scientific knowledge, your child will learn to build a battery out of a pickle! Have your child join us for an educational experience that isnt just delicious, its also fun! Four FULL days of fundamental basketball while maintaining fun! This camp is designed to introduce the beginner to the game of basketball and develop the skills of younger players. We also visit with the team nutritionist about the importance of the healthy plate, attend the pool 3 days for a small break in the afternoon & team building activities throughout the 4 days.
