Drama Advanced-Prepared to be challenged by the likes of Shakespeare, Mamet and other influential playwrights in our Advanced Drama Class. This class will delve into the techniques used by famous teachers such as Stanislavsky, Chekov and Boal, to truly hone their skills in bringing characters to life on the stage. Please contact Jay Goodlett to confirm that you have the required training to participate. Step into the role of a lifetime and learn the secrets of the Dramatic Arts! Using traditional and modern acting techniques, we will explore the dynamics of drama through the use of scene work. Your teaching artist will assign scenes from both contemporary and classical theatrical plays/musicals as you learn to expand your talents through the help of others. CAMP STRAWBERRY CIT program incorporates specialized skills, camp activities, special guests, athletics, safety training, and work experience skills in an exciting summer environment. Young teens, ages 11-15, will gain valuable training through work experience in a camp setting including how to fill out applications, develop resumes and lead groups. CIT-TIME ZONE allows the group to develop their own athletic and safety skills through professional instruction with a weekly focus. When CITs are not in CIT-TIME ZONE, they will work hand in hand with SRD camp staff to lead games, sports, cooking, songs and transitions.
