Get ready for a night filled with fun! This is for Summer Day Camp kids ONLY! $25 for members and $35 for non-members! Dinner will be provided! Boys need to bring a 2 liter drink and girls need to bring chips, crackers, cookies, cupcakes, etc. They need to bring a swimsuit, towel, sleeping bag, and an extra change of clothes. This camp was a blast last year and this year will be even better! I will be using it as my senior project this year. It is June 27-29th from 6-9pm at Kuna High School track. What is it about wax that appeals to our senses of touch, taste, sight and smell? Beeswax. Paraﬃn. Soy wax. Gel wax. In this camp you will learn how to work with wax as a creative medium that is as versatile as clay or metal. You will also explore how wax is made and how the very diﬀerent chemical and physical properties inﬂuence what it is best used for! Campers will create their own candles, practice wax resist techniques and will even learn the age-old craft of encaustic painting (using melted wax as paint).
