Campers will enjoy gymnastics, tumbling, games and arts & crafts daily. No gymnastics experience is required. All activities at Rome Gymnastics Center at 1 Shorter Avenue. Camp Hours are 8:00 AM - Noon; Monday through Thursday. No camp on Friday. Campers should bring shoes daily and dress in athletic wear. Mens Soccer Youth Camp #1 - Future Stars - Chico State University Soccer Stadium
The Future Stars Program is designed for kids ages 4-8 and focuses on basic technical soccer skills and smaller-sided games. Our program introduces dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting. The Future Stars will learn how to play a ball with all areas of the foot, while being introduced to the rules and facets of the game. Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance and music. It was created in Brazil mainly by descendants of African slaves with Brazilian native influences. It is known by quick and complex moves, using mainly power, speed, and leverage for leg sweeps. Students work on physical coordination, group awareness, and communication. Students are recommended ( but not required) to take both the Monday and Thursday classes to get the most out of this program.
