Teen Adventure Trip: Camping and Fishing Trip - Chandler, AZ
Explorer or thrill seeker, experience a summer of adventure that will invigorate your spirit. Designed for teens ages 13 and up, getaways are a great way to meet new people. Learn the art and science of fishing from a true expert. We will be escaping the Valley heat by traveling north to some of the best hidden fishing holes where fishing is at its best. Participants will be provided with transportation, fishing pole, and bait. Bring a large lunch, a lot of water, your valid AZ fishing license and appropriate clothing for the weather (close-toed shoes are required). *Pre-registration is required.

A Usdan Visit and Information Session is an excellent way to learn about our many summer programs and what makes them both fun and educational. We begin with a guided walk through campus, introducing the music, art, dance, theater, writing, chess, nature and recreation departments. Our administrative leadership will share a few ideas about what shapes the Usdan program, from where we draw our inspiration, and what makes a summer at Usdan unlike any other. We will explain the enrollment process, and you will be given a chance to talk in small groups, or individually, with our knowledgeable team of arts faculty and staff members. We end the visit with a self-guided walk and exploration of the grounds. Jump head first into the wonderful world of improv comedy. This camp is open to teens from the age of 13 to 18, and absolutely no experience is needed. Students will explore the key tools behind both long and short form improvisation. We will play numerous improv games which will help to sharpen your mind and strengthen your public-speaking, social and team-building skills. We strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where teens can build confidence, make friends, and most importantly ... have fun. At the end of camp, all students will take part in a graduation show on the Push Comedy Theater stage. Students will also be eligible to perform in the 5th Annual Norfolk Comedy Festival in late September 2016. The Teen Improv Summer Camp will be July 11 thru 15 from 1pm to 3pm. Tutition: $200

Did you ever think, What makes people laugh? What makes you laugh? We will spend a week laughing at comedy throughout the ages and create our own! By watching comedy in many forms, such as cartoons, sit-coms, improv, standup, and movies, we will laugh and learn about the universal truth of comedy and how it has evolved over time and by culture. We will also read funny stories, jokes, and essays, and we will grow as writers by writing our own comedy sketches, stories, jokes, and short films. We will also practice improv. The week will conclude with a comedy performance of the work we will create. Be ready to laugh, think, and push yourself not just to be a funnier person but also to become a comedy expert. 2016 Level III Summer Intensive in Chicago (June 13 - July 8, 2016) - Colombia College Chicago
Our Level III is a four week program for advanced dancers, ages 14 – 17. Classes are held at Colombia Colleges dance studios, which are shared between two locations: 916 S Wabash Street & 1306 S Michigan Street. Dancers meet for classes Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm and Saturdays, 10am to 2pm. Students attend daily ballet classes and learn Hubbard Street and Hubbard Street 2 repertory. Classes also offered include: Modern, Yoga, Pilates, Improvisation, Hip Hop, physical therapy discussions career discussions, and more.
