Week #10: August 29-Sept 2: Maker Magic Want to explore circuits and make wristbands that light up the night, or study air pressure before building your own personal snow globe? This mini camp is an awesome combination of science and engineering. Makers in this hands-on class will learn about fundamental science concepts and then use what they learn to create amazing projects to take home. Well learn about water and make balloon powered boats, study the night sky and make constellation "keychains", set off sparklers we make from scratch and more! Calling all tinkerers! Walworth/Noyes Family Reunion 2016 - Marion, MT
Walworth Family Reunion Notice! Date: August 12, 13, 14, 2016 Arrive: 6:00 p.m. on 12th Depart: 4:00 p.m. on Sunday the 14th Camp Fees: My contract says $550.00 per day for 50 people. $10.00 per person per day over 50 people. Children 7 and under are free. This may change a bit but not much if it does. Food: We have traditionally hosted and pd. for the Friday night meal as we aren’t traveling. Saturday 3 meals, and Sunday 2 meals will be provided for the actual cost of the food, and divided by the total number of people coming. Children 7 and under are free. All of you who have come to the Lion’s camp in the past are familiar with the Nazi who was running it. I am pleased to announce that she is no longer there. A wonderful lady by the name of Jessica Thomas is running it now. Her and I discovered today that the Nazi manager wrote us into a different date than I was told at our last reunion there. I think I am just happy to have a reservation, as they are already booked out a long way. So some of you will think it’s a July date, but...

Howdy fellow camp alumni and camp lovers! Come out Friday, June 17th, for a fun filled night of music and drinks at the Columbia heights VFW on 45th and Central. Music will be provided by the awesome cover band, Greyduck with Chelsea Csargo on the vocals who is a former camper, staff member, and current volunteer. This event is a special night to donate money to future campers. Let's help provide kids with the opportunity to experience the magic of the Hodag while building memories they will carry throughout their lifetime! Everyone is welcome... So bring your friends! P.S. Girls entering Grade 4 in Fall 2016 - Huddart Park
Campers entering grade 4 are grouped in units with girls of their own age/grade and are supervised by trained staff members and program aides. Campers participate in a wide variety of activities including earning badges, hiking, outdoor cooking, learning outdoor skills, crafts, games, singing and more.
