The GFS Lacrosse Camp offers the ideal way for players of all levels to improve their individual skills, have fun, and meet new friends. This camp is designed for players who want to work on fundamental skill-building with a major emphasis on stick work, scoring, positional play, and game concepts. Newcomers are welcome! Coach Katie Bergstrom Mark is a former Division I lacrosse player and current Head Lacrosse Coach and Athletic Director at GFS. More than 45 of her players have gone on to play collegiate lacrosse at different schools, including MIT, Smith, Penn, Bard, Stanford, Wesleyan, Vermont, Davidson, Bowdoin and more. Our coaching staff consists of current varsity players and collegiate athletes who demonstrate and share first-hand knowledge of the skills they developed during their summers at GFS Camps! Our primary goal is to build confidence and deepen players passion for sports! Swims at the Germantown Cricket Club add to the summertime fun! Bus transportation is available to and from Center City for $100 provided 17 campers sign-up on or before June 1 for transportation during the week of June 20 - 24. 215-951-2384

Can you tell a bird from its call? Identify a mammal from its prints in the mud? Ever wonder where flying squirrels live? How to catch a snake or a bullfrog? Come join us as we adventure through creeks, marshes, forests, and the many natural places of beauty we have to explore on The Heights campus and all around the metropolitan area. The various ingredients of this camp make for a fantastic summer experience. From the personal attention and fun atmosphere of learning, to the outdoor adventures and games, this is an experience hard to beat or imitate. Activities: short classes, nature walks, daily journal, creek exploration, games, field and fishing trips, and specimen collection. Session I will focus on mammals, reptiles, and birds.
