All About Animals 1st/2nd grade - CuriOdyssey
Animals need food, water, and space in order to survive and all have special adaptations for living within their environment. Get up close with CuriOdysseys resident non-releasable animals, get a behind-the-scenes tour of our animal exhibits, and venture out into the park to observe and discover how animals find their food and protect themselves from becoming food. 650-340-7590

Spring Break Olympic Peninsula Exploration - Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
Join Blue Compass Camps for an exploration of the Beautiful Olympic Peninsula this Spring Break. We will hike, explorer history, visit the beach and the mountains. This trip will be as varied as the Olympics itself. We will spent time exploring coastal towns, majestic beaches and stepping into the rain forest around the Hoh River. As is the case with all Blue Compass Camps outdoor adventures: 1.) Our Goals, beyond having ridiculous amounts of fun with newly made friends, are to help develop social and self confidence while providing an exciting, challenging and unforgettable adventure experience. 2.) Our Staff support teens through compassionate strength-based perspectives, believing every adolescent has many gifts and unique qualities to offer. Camp Houston Levee (CITs) - Houston Levee Park
Is your child too old for camp but still likes to have a little fun? Camp Houston Levee is seeking Counselors-In-Training for this years summer camp. Requirements include: * Must be at least 14 years old and a rising freshman in high school * Participate in the interview process * Be able to assist for 7 of the 8 weeks of summer camp AND * Complete the CIT Orientation Session In return, we will provide: * A summer of fun activities * Opportunities to take on leadership roles, and * An engaging, learning experience The fee of $115 covers a percentage of the cost for staff shirts, field trips and Friday lunches. We will be accepting up to 16 applications but only 8-10 participants will be chosen to participate as a CIT. This decision will be determined on a first come-first-serve basis during the interview process. Applications will be accepted starting April 1st and close once all positions have been filled. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Participants must bring a copy of their birth certificate with them to their interview. Jurassic - Fishers of Men Lutheran Church
Dinosaurs may be extinct, but they are very much alive in Camp Jurassic. Campers learn about a variety of dinosaurs and their habitats. Rocks, minerals and fossils are studied along with a variety of related projects. 713-589-8958
