Car, truck, motorcycle and bicycle show. Yes outdoors and Yes we have the date correct. Sunday Jan 29 from noon til dusk! Pull that car cover off, put the battery back in and drive your summer ride out for one day of winter fun! They make car washes, even in winter...so put on your big boy/girl pants and drive out...snow or shine! All show vehicles welcome. FREE Chili. Awards at 4pm. Free admission. Trophies awarded for car, truck, motorcycle AND bicycle participation. $5 entry fee per car/truck, $3 per motorcycle and $1 per bicycle if you would like to participate in the drawings and awards. 100% of all entry collection will go to the Make a Wish Foundation. You can display for FREE, but you will not be in for awards or raffle prize drawings without a donation to our Charity. Freddy has a great bar, with an really nice deck out back. The Solon Recreation Department offers two day camps that run in conjunction with one another. The Summer Camp is for pre-kindergarten to fourth graders (child must be at least 5 years old and no older than 12 on their first day of camp). The Adventure Camp is for current fifth & sixth graders (child must be 12 years old or younger on their first day of camp). Camp consists of sports, swimming, activities, field trips and much, much more. The schedules and activities are age appropriately planned. This is our FULL DAY option for Young Paleontologist. Camp Young Paleontologist will get your child excited about dinosaurs, fossils, and more! Activities and experiments explore the prehistoric era. During each activity branches of science and noteworthy scientists are introduced. (If your child has any food allergies, please make sure to include that on your online registration form). These exciting experiments are sure to delight and spark the science minds of our youngest little campers, ages 4 and 5.
