Instructor: Pamela Howett () Room: D-5 In this engaging class students will draw favorite undersea animals, including dolphins, sea stars, clownfish and more while learning fundamentals of art. Our fun projects are geared towards developing drawing skills within each class, as well as encouraging individual creativity and expression. While many of the projects are guided, each student works with his or her own vision and produces a unique finished piece. This class helps children develop cognitive skills, motor skills, social skills, and both verbal and non-verbal communication skills. ALL Youth! On behalf of the District Youth Board, we greet you in the name of Jesus Christ! We pray and hope that you and your youth group are well and blessed. Camp is around the corner and we are excited about it! This year’s theme is “EXCHANGE.” We have felt God tug at our hearts and steer us in this direction with this theme in mind. When the Apostle Paul received his calling from God, he wrote “… for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ” (Philippians 3:8, NKJV). An exchange occurred in his life. He left behind knowledge, position, and commodities to live his life for Christ. Our goal for this year’s youth camp is for young people to understand that in every EXCHANGE, something must be given up in order for something to be gained; and our ultimate goal is to gain Christ.

River Runners Reunion Camp - Black Hill Visitor Center
This camp was created especially for paddlers who have completed our River Adventures Kayak Camp, or have strong river-running skills. Join us for five full days of exploring new waterways and wildlife-watching from a kayak! Well supply all the equipment you need (kayaks, PFDs, and paddles), just bring your lunch and your sense of adventure. On Friday, why not invite your parents to come along for the day? Itll give you a chance to show off and leave them in your wake. Campers must be able to swim and tread water for one minute. Ultimate Tennis / Game Theory Camp II (Grades 1-8) In the morning camp will feature games, drills, and team-oriented activities designed to develop skills, strengthen consistency and build player confidence. Attention will be given to both singles and doubles games. Afternoon hours will take place in the classroom and will be devoted to game theory and mental toughness. Daily sessions will provide interactive games, activities and simulations designed to build confidence, mental toughness and a better understanding of competitive situations. Two different sessions are offered. Participants can sign up for one or both sessions. Staff: Albert Paulsson and varsity athletes Pre and post camp care is available at Millstone River school through WWP Community Education for an additional fee on their website. The brand new musical - which opened this season on Broadway - follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school and ends up turning his class into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. SCHOOL OF ROCK is produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber, who composed 14 songs to create the score, which also features all of the original songs from the movie. Ohlook has been granted a special license to perform this show while it is still performing on Broadway! Come join us and add a Regional Premiere to your resume!
