This summer LPBA is partnering with the Chicago Bandits (womans professional softball team). Players and coaches from the Bandits will be on hand throughout the summer to work with our softball campers on hitting, pitching mechanics and defensive fundamentals. LPBA softball camp is open to girls ages 7-13. This new partnership will offer a truly unique camp experience for softball players in the Chicagoland area. The Birchmont Fun Fest
They call is the 'Birchmont Experience' on their website. I call it the Birchmont Fun Fest because that's just what our two kids went through. Although they are only a year apart you would think they grew up in separate cities. What amazed me is how close they became. That was worth the price of admission! Folsom Teen Bible Boot Camp 2016 - Folsom, CA
The church of Christ in Folsom, California will be hosting a free Bible study for teenagers and college students during the weekend of April 15-17, 2016. We usually hold this annual Bible study on the third weekend in April (except when Easter falls on that weekend, and then another April weekend is selected). During this weekend, participants will attend a Friday night singing and a Bible study on Saturday morning and afternoon. The age group for visitors at this event is current high school students (9th to 12th grades) and college-aged young people. Participants are encouraged to come Friday night and stay through Sunday morning services at the Folsom church of Christ. Members of the church are willing to open their homes on Friday and Saturday for lodging, and overnight arrangements will be organized by grade level and gender. If you would like to attend, please complete the online registration form by Saturday, April 9th at: http://folsom.cierecloud.com/forum/about/ or on the Folsom congregation’s website. Please feel free to forward this to others in your congregation, grandchildren, friends, etc. and have their young people join us.

Requirements: All counties must provide chaperones. Youth and chaperones must stay at the camp until checked out. Vocal at JazzFest Jazz Camp-Commuter - Augustana University
This year, a new vocal component has been added to the camp! Vocalists will learn to sing with an ensemble, combo and develop jazz singing skills. Special lessons will be available such as style, interpretation, vocal technique, introduction to music theory, scat singing and more. Plus, top vocalists will be featured with the jazz combos at JazzFest! Space is limited for vocalists! Vocal applicants will have to audition before final acceptance Audition Criteria: 1. A standard jazz tune (Fly Me to the Moon, Stormy Weather, etc.); please bring a copy of the sheet music for the accompanist 2. Auditionees will be required to perform range and tonal memory tests. 3. Auditions may take place in person on the campus of Augustana University with Dr. Russell Svenningsen, by submitting a private YouTube, or audition via Skype. 4.
