Second annual kids do Strollfit class. All kids are welcome to bring their baby stroller, lawn mower, anything they can push and they will do their own Strollfit class. Prizes will be given for best decorated vehicle/push item. I will assign older kids an exercise to teach to the other kids (generally 4 and up). Moms, please help them and practice with them. If you have a younger one that would like to teach, let me know and I will add them. Don't want to exclude any who wants to teach!! Be sure you bring your camera. Saturday, June 18th meet the JTP cast of Ragtime for a pre-show party with food by Trali Irish Pub, adult beverages, actors in costume, singers and RESERVED FRONT AND CENTER SEATS TO THE SHOW! Each summer, JTP services 240 kids at youth summer theater camp! MANY are subsidised or completely scholarshipped. We typically give $25,000 in assistance to families during the just SEVEN WEEKS of camps at the Raleigh Safety Club, St. Francis of Assisi, and Emily K camps. We also hire and pay 45 counselors and a professional staff of 15. How can you help? Dont Try This (9-12) - Peninsula Fine Arts Center
Dont try this at home: the sequel! If you missed it last year, dont make the same mistake twice! This fun, mess-filled camp is making a comeback with more ooey-gooey, messy fun! Join in as we suds things up with wet-felting, get down and dirty in clay or turn up the psychedelic vibes with some tie-dye! Campers should bring lunch, drinks and two snacks (due to allergies, please make sure all food is peanut free) PFACs camps are led by one teaching artist per 12-15 students with assistance from Camp Counselors. If youre child may need additional assistance beyond what a teaching artist could provide, please let us know. Parents are always invited to stay in the classroom. 757-596-8175

Children love being outside playing in the soil, and they love exploring how plants grow in a garden. Join us as we channel your childs natural curiosity as we learn about flowers and edibles from planting to plate. This camp will include a variety of projects plus tastings of a variety of plants and plant parts ranging from roots to flowers (these are all things you normally eat.).
